Terrible experience on a Saturday morning. Simple order of 2 pancakes meals. Waited 30 minutes at the store. Many patrons... waiting for takeout and tables extremely upset due to the long waits, poor service, and lack of attention. Manager comes outand says he?s busy with $100 and $200 orders that just came in. That seems like standard size orders for a restaurant to handleespecially on Saturday morning for breakfast. We were sat quickly but it took over 1 hr to get our waffles. Our waiter disappeared for over 30 minutes, never checked on us... but when he did reappear, he offered coffee refills to the tables around us, and walked on by us. He also gave us the wrongcheck, but at that point, we paid a little bit more than we should have just to get out of there. I alsoI asked for lemons formy water twice and never received them. Another wait person saw the empty glass and filled it for my husband. The wafflesarrived cold, the butter didn't melt on them, but atleast the eggs were hot. I've worked at restaurants and understand thekitchen gets backed up but this was more a matter of poor customer service. Other restaurants that had similar situations hadthe wait person stopping by with an update, seeing if there was anything else we needed, and apologized for the delay. It has been awhile since I have been to IHOP. Went a few weeks ago amd got a server named Demetrius. Demetrius was an amazing... server, Acted like he had known me my wife and I for ever. Went back the next week and got him again. Let me tell you, so far heis the reason we will come back again. I'm sure the other servers would be just as kind but he is the reason we will be backagain. I know restaurants will double as other restaurants and it's showing that this address is 2710 Texas 121 and Thrilled Cheese and... Super Mega Dilla also have this address so I'll leave my review here. Purchased some snacks: fries, mozz sticks, a cookie and abrownie. Fries were soggy, plain and nothing special. Mozzarella sticks were really tough. Idk what kind of cheese was used butit was very difficult to chew. The sweets were prepackaged which was unexpected. The brownie was both sandy and mushy at thesame time which was very unpleasant. The cookie was the better thing out of all. The description said it was a simple chocolatechip cookie but what you get is not. It's has caramel and pretzels (why ruin a cookie with pretzels) in it which is isn'tmentioned in the description. It was ok (minus the pretzels) but way too much chocolates and not even good chocolate. Thecombination is too much. Cookie would be amazing if there was less nonsense in it. Read more
Food was tasty. Service was good too but ac wasn't working. It was really hot inside.
The Spicy Poblano Omelet. One of the best omelets around. And a shout-out to the excellent staff and cook's!
Servers doubled as hosts/hostesses. Iced tea had very little ice and was warm. Patty melt came without IHOP special sauce. ... Had to wait for them to make sauce. People were having to ask for to-go boxes and their tabs more than once. And it wasn'teven busy. Only good part of the visit was that waitstaff was friendly and pleasant. Read more
I went because they offered free pancakes for veterans on Veterans Day. I am grateful for that. I know that isn't something they... have to or need to do so I am grateful. The service was adequate. The young man waiting on us was polite, respectful, pleasant,and professional. The food was good, average. We had the free pancakes with fruit topping and they were good. Waffles, eggs, andbacon. Everything was good, average, about what you would expect at an IHOP. Thanks again for the providing that too veterans. Isaw quite a few in there taking advantage of the offering. Read more
