My spouse and I really enjoyed our date night at Outback tonight. The food was great and our waiter, Todd, was awesome! He... suggested a great summer drink that we really enjoyed called the Wallaby Darned. Peachy goodness! Fantastic steak and amazing service. Todd was welcoming and took good care of us, giving us lots of local information as we were... visiting from the UK. The food was so good, we had the bone in ribeye and recommended it. Cooked to perfection by the kitchenand full of flavour. Read more
The good tasted alright, but I waited for the food for 46 minutes and 57 seconds.I timed the wait and it was way too long.even... though The food tasted fine, it was not necessarily worth the time of wait.the place is kinda nice,dark with some yellow light,and somewhat strong music. I've been coming to this location for a few years now and have never had a bad anything. My most favorite visit Todd was our... server, he is amazing. It's been a few years and he's still there which makes me happy. We always get the French onion soupbecause it is so good and generally gravitate towards steak. This is my go-to birthday dinner spot. On our most recent visit11.21.21 I realized I hadn't ever left a review. I found this puzzling as I thought I had. The service was great, I didn'tcatch our waitresses name unfortunately. The food was just as great, our steaks were perfect, as was the soup. I stuck toFrench onion but my friend tried out the new chili option and enjoyed it. He said now he will struggle to pick what to havewhen we go back: the French onion or the chili...? I don't know that I could cheat on the French onion to be honest. The brownbread and butter at the start of the meal is nice but I try to avoid it so I can finish all of my meal. The drinks are good aswell. I've also had the boomerang dessert flight when it was new and loved it. I think the baked potatoes can be too salty soI opt for mashed potatoes. Also a nice dose of garlic butter on the steak is GREAT and works perfectly with the mashedpotatoes. Friend tried the new espresso butter and said he'd get it again. This review is all over the place, my apologies. It's just good food in a nice atmosphere. On our most recent visit the tables were being cleaned with enthusiasm the younglady doing them was really into it and seemed to be enjoying herself. That's rare and it made me happy. Read more
This place was a great disappointment. My husband & I wanted to get out & have a steak & drinks. We placed our order & 8 mins... later we were brought our salads. We literally had no silverware ???? to eat with. My husband tried to grab the guy?s attentionthat brought our salads to ask for silverware but he ignored him & kept walking. So we waited 10 mins for our waiter to come butshe never came. So my husband had to get up & go find her & let her know we needed eating utensils, she said ok & told thehostess to get us some, the hostess told her ok she will be there shortly. The hostess went back up front & sat 2 sets ourcustomers down at tables & gave them silverware. 7 mins passed & we still have not received anything to eat with. So my husbandasked her again as she was passing by & she made a little joke saying ?you sure you don?t want to eat with your hands tonight? !We fake laughed cause we were hungry & annoyed. So she said we will be right back with it. 5 mins later we still had nothing somy husband grabbed her attention AGAIN (the hostess, our table was 5 ft from her podium) & said ?ma?am, can we PLEASE getsomething to eat with?? ! She handed him the silverware & walked off without saying anything, not even an apology for the waitor inconveniences. 2 mins after we received our silverware, our waitress brought our food out. I think that is so crazy that wedidn?t get to enjoy our salad first. & the steak was very greasy with nothing but fat, hardly any meat. I went yesterday for my birthday because I had been there before and I thought it was very good! Yesterday the server was not... really attentive at all, she asked if we were going to order an appetizer, I answered yes and she left and did not come back fora while. When we arrived we had no Silverware on our table or napkins so we had to go on our own to look for them, as well asthe baby seats. the food was not that good. I ordered asparagus and it was way overcooked, I really wouldn't go back again. Read more
