We stopped for lunch at the Eureka location. Roast beef sandwich and Meatball sandwich were both very good. The bread and fries... were piping hot and great as well. Friends and I ate at Eureka today, Monday. This is the first time that service was not very good. My salad had a bug in it.... The server gave me another one to go and the lettuce was wet and not fit to eat. This has never happened before in the manyyears I have been going there. I loved going here as a young child in the early 80?s. Joe B. Was there all the time and was super friendly. While joe has stood... the test of time his suppliers have not so it is not quite the same as it use to be BUT still awesome none the less. I preferweek day lunch as it is not as busy as the weekends and you can get it to go. Read more
Best steak we have ever had!!!! Meals that were suggested were delicious! Highly recommend if you are in town. You don't know... what you are missing until you take your first bite. Great service and great atmosphere. Wish we lived closer. Read more

If I was only rating Joe's as a pizza spot it would get 5 out of 5 every single time but since my daughter and i dined in, we... decided to get something else off the menu for a change. Unfortunately that was a bad call. I ordered pasta con broccoli, sheordered fettuccine Alfredo w chicken. Both pastas tasted pretty terrible, so much that we didn't eat them past the first twobites. The pasta was mush,the sauce was flavorless. It was obvious that both dishes had just come out of a microwave becausethey were piping hot but yet still had the appearance of having sat out for some time. The sauce was obviously a powder mix ofsome type with no spice or flavor added to it-for an Italian restaurant that is unacceptable. And the pasta was obviously madein bulk at the beginning of the day and probably just sat in water until it was pulled out for an order, also not up to par fora supposed authentic Italian restaurant. I hate saying this because I truly do love Bocardis, and always have, but it's not thefirst time I was let down when I ordered anything other than pizza and salad/sides to go w it. It is top notch every singletime, we love it. But the pasta dishes are just so bad maybe a review from a loyal customer will resonate and hopefully get themto step up their game and change a few things. I cannot be alone in having these opinions about the restaurant, and I meanabsolutely no disrespect in saying these things. I want to love more than the pizza Joe! Read more
First, and probably last time getting food here. Salad is plain lettuce and a tiny amount of cheese, and the lasagna is... literally layers of pasta?with no filling?and some sauce/cheese on top. Not impressed. Read more
