Perfection! Our first “fine dining” experience in the heart of Downtown Eureka Springs. We made a reservation in advance.... Our server was very knowledgeable and kind. She was very attentive despite how busy they were. For an appetizer we ordered thePeppered Goat. It was amazing & now my honey is addicted to goat cheese lol. For my meal (as a vegetarian) I ordered the CharredGreens & had sides of Mac & cheese & grilled asparagus. The white cheddar Mac & cheese was so creamy and delicious. My honeyordered the Cedar Plank Salmon with the chipotle aioli & he said it was the best salmon he’s ever had. I had a moscato wine &he had an old fashioned. The vibe in this place was quiet & romantic & was a truly awesome experience. We 100% will be back nexttime we are in Eureka Springs! Read more

As with many things about Eureka Sorings that are unique, the vibe and atmosphere in this “underground” restaurant is... beautiful. It’s a very small space (also typical Eureka) so in peak seasons you likely won’t get in without a reservation.We arrived early thinking we could have a drink at the bar prior to dinner and even discovered the bar seats are reserved. TheGrotto is known for its steak, which was excellent. We did have our Granddaughter with us (she’s 7) and there is nothing for akid’s menu but she ate the sliders which is how we discovered (of all things) the french fries were the most delicious thingsI’ve ever had ASSUMING you like a lot of salt because they were loaded with seasonings. The menu is limited so check it outbefore you go to make sure there is something to your liking. The service was great and the restaurant makes its own sauces sohighly recommend you try the horseradish. For your baked potatoes they out a block of butter with seasonings (maybe chive?) init, also very good. Great place for a romantic dinner, not a great place for kids. Came here about 4 years ago and it was excellent so I wanted to try it again. This is a very nicely done place but is very... limited in seating. We arrived early and were seated promptly. We placed our drink orders and they were delivered timely. Istarted with the mushroom Brie bisque and it was very good, great seasoning and flavors. I then had then salmon and it wascooked perfectly. I then had the bread pudding for dessert And it was ok. I do prefer mine swimming in a rum sauce. Service wasexcellent! This is a great fine dinning restaurant with a fairly limited menu. Read more

This is a fantastic date night, out-with-friends, or family night for celebration location. We came to just grab an appetizer... and drink and I was floored by the quality of the sliders on the menu!! They were every bit as good as a full meal!! Thegentleman next to us had the rib-eye and it looked perfectly cooked! Our bar tender was so kind he showed us around thebeautiful facility and made us fantastic drinks. Had the most incredible post-birthday dinner here; zero complaints about anything! Our service was wonderful, and of course... I’d highly recommend a reservation here due to their popularity. We were a bit early for our reservation but seated promptly,and the service throughout was top notch. For small plates we had the peppered goat cheese and quail poppers. While both wereplated well and tasted amazing, the quail poppers (they have an Asian pan glaze sauce) almost outshined everything that evening!My partner wanted the prime rib but they were out (probably due to our reservation being later in the evening) but we both gotthe pork chop, which was huge, perfectly cooked, and was generally pretty spectacular. Ordered a slice of the salted caramelcream cake, which was truly lovely. For drinks I had their hard cherry limeade cocktail and a Moscow mule, which were both madevery well. They do have ambient lighting so I didn’t get great pictures, but I did love the lighting feature over the bar.???? Hopefully we will be back soon! Read more

We enjoyed our first visit to the Grotto. We had heard many great things prior to the visit from the ambiance, service, and... food. Rhonda was such a pleasure as our server and offered many suggestions. We had the Brussels sprouts and mushroom brie soupto start followed by the rib eye with a baked potato. The baked potato had this amazing yogurt based horseradish suave on itwhich went well with our wood fired ribeye. Which, in of itself was outstanding.I only took a few pictures of the inside and ourdrinks, old fashion and moscato. We will not deduct a star for the lack of parking or the lack of information on where to park.We did run late because of that. The hostess really should have shared that when we called to advise why we were late. I’m anycase, we will be back when we visit Eureka Springs again. Read more

We made a reservation for our anniversary and asked to sit near the cave. When we arrived she said that seating near the cave... was not available but she was able to seat us right away. Two tables near the cave sat empty for about 20 minutes just a fewminutes after we were seated (it would have been nice if she would have asked if we wouldn't mind waiting a few minutes for thatseating. Seems odd if someone with a reservation time after us would get it). Ambiance was very nice throughout, though. Service was okay, not outstanding, but it looked like there were only a couple servers. My boyfriend ordered the smoked duckwith rice - amazing flavor, tiny serving. I had the salmon with the horseradish yogurt over it, (much larger cut, cooked toperfection) and the mac and cheese (absolutely delightful!). We ordered a sweet red wine that went surprisingly well with ourmeals. All things considered, it was a very nice meal. Read more
