I have to say it has been a really long time since I've been to the OP3, like 30 years.... am I that old now? I moved out of the... Waterloo area in 1991 and through time I now live in Minneapolis. I spent a short vacation in Evansdale with some relatives andjumped at the chance to hit the old stomping ground. The atmosphere at the OP has not changed and that is a good thing. Ourwaitress was very friendly and attentive. She brought drinks right away and saw we were talking and offered to come back to getfood orders. I will interject here that I did use the restroom and found it to be very clean and well stocked. Soap for washinghands and plenty of paper towels to dry your hands. The restroom even smelled good. An extra thank you to the OP staff for that.The food came in what I would consider an average amount of time. Again, I don't think that is a bad thing, rather it means thefood was correctly prepared and done so with the intent of everyone getting their food at the same time. My meal was excellentand right along the lines of all the good memories I had of eating at the OP. I've been to the other OP's and always thought theEvansdale OP was the better of the 3. Once again they have proved my opinion correct. The OP in Evansdale is the perfect placefor a group or just a quick bite. The food is simple and delicious. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. If you've been tothe OP in Evansdale you know what I mean. If you haven't been there I would recommend you give them a try. Food is always great fresh and hot .. Are waitress was awesome .. but there were two waitress when my husband walked in to get... table not greet him right away had wait 10mibs for are waitress to get beer but after that service was good. Read more

Real friendly place with a good chef. I'd recommend it as a place to take the kids or a place to have a beer and watch sports!
