Good food, interesting decor, lengthy Irish menu. Service a bit slow for week night.
Usually restaurants with this kind of menu give me hesitation- like fish n chips, bangers n mash - because many of these dishes... are terrible at many restaurants. Not this one. We had a delicious meal here last night and sat outside with a puppy! The crispysalmon on risotto and peas was delicious and was my bangers n mash - very tasty and tender sausages and delicious gravy. Thecorned beef and cabbage was also very good. Our only complaint was our server who was competent but absolutely no personality,and he disappeared after our meal was served and we had to go in and pay. Read more

If you can't make it to Ireland just now, come to Celtic Knot for an authentic dive into the cuisine! The owners have gone out... of their way to bring your order as if you were there. Large cod fish & perfectly done thick fries (chips) are SO good ! Turkeyburger is homemade! I had the chicken/ham pot pie that had vegetables & potatoes with a puff pastry on top. Hot &Delicious!! Great Irish bar! Interior almost replicates an Irish pub. Friendly staff! Good selection of Irish beers. We'll beback to try Shepard's pie among other menu items. Good atmosphere, good food. Not great, but it is a pub. Great prices, we were surprised when we got the check - especially being... in this area. They had live music when we were there, which was real nice. Not too loud, you could still easily talk to eachother. Service was great, couldn't be happier with the treatment we got. Nice Evanston neighborhood Irish bar and grill, cannot eat in... but speedy takeout. Went to Whole Foods while I waited. I had... their bacon burger and cupcake. Food is good! Hope to dine in soon! Read more
This is one of the best restaurants. First and Foremost, Liz, Patrick, and Rachel could not be nicer hosts. Their split pea... soup is amazing. Fish and chips, corned beef, and burgers are so good. We were in town for three nights and went there 4 times. HIGHLY recommend!!!! Read more
