Food was good, service was horrible. It was my birthday and my husband made us a reservation. We get there and was seated in... dinning area, (w/o reservation acknowledgement) then we were told to leave the dinning area and move to bar. They didn’tacknowledge my birthday which my husband added in reservation comments and told first server. But we noticed they acknowledgedsomeone else’s. There were no seafood options. I didn't care for the oxtail rolls or mac & cheese but overall so much we had was delicious! Jerk wings, Curry goat and Brown... Stew Chicken were delicious with the cornbread, candied yams and rice. Peach cobbler for dessert which we took home and addedice cream. Definitely wasn't a cheap meal for two of us but I would go again! Update Aug 2022: Made a recommendation to go herefor lunch. We were sat right away then we waited and waited. We had 3 different people come to our table none of them were ourserver. I actually went to the host table to ask eventually for a server. Some one else's server was kind enough to take ourfood order but when that lady was taking our order she made statements like we should have known it was clear we wouldn't seeher again after she put the food in. It took forever for our food to come. After a reasonable then unreasonable wait time, Iasked for someone to check on our food. I was ready to leave during all the waiting but the person I was with wanted to stayand eat. The tables nearby with assigned servers did not wait long but I don't know what was going on with ours. We askedservers assigned to other tables to check on our food order, at least the wings we ordered as an appetizer. After that shebrought them right away then within 2 mins said our entrees were ready. During the waiting for the wings, another lady came tocheck on us and offered free drinks (too sweet rum punch that we did not drink) since no one ever came to take our drinkorder. Later when we had gotten our food, it turned out that last lady was supposed to be our server the whole time. At no pointsince our arrival had she stopped by, introduced herself, checked on us or made any attempt to serve us. I didn't even realizedshe worked there. To start....I will ABSOLUTELY be back! Today was our first time we sat on the rooftop and we loved everything. We had a Bob... Marly to drink and a Rum Punch Mimosa. We ordered ox tail egg rolls but the male server gave it to the wrong table which justgives me more to look forward to next time. My Honey had the lobster in garlic butter, steamed veggies, and Mac and cheese. Ihad the Jamaican fried chicken, greens, yams and Mac! The sauce that comes with the chicken is literally the new love of mylife!!! We enjoyed our Sunday afternoon out and can't wait to return. This was my first time eating here and OH. MY. GOD????. It was uh-mazing (which is better than amazing). The food is beyond... wonderful. I had the brown stew snapper, rice and peas and steamed Cabbage. The rice and peas were outstandingly delicious. Mydrink, my drink........my drink though????. It was a pink starburst and trust me when I say "Hakeem" could be the pide piperjust for the drink alone. At the same time, my homemade mango cheesecake tasted like Sweet baby Jesus himself had reached downand touched it. It was that good...I mean, no really it was. Seriously, it was. Best chicken we have had in a long time. I got the Jerk Chicken and Waffles and my wife got the fried chicken and waffles. WOW... just WOW. This is my first time eating authentic Jamaican food and it made me fall in love. All natural, all fresh. The place issuper well designed and has a very nice vibe, we had a DJ playing live music. Just joy everywhere and our server Cassandra wentabove and beyond to make us feel welcome and to provide us with top service. Some of the friendliest people, we will come backfor dinner too! I came to this place for the first time back in September 2021 and I loved it! Food was delicious, portions were great, I came... when there was live music. Overall 10/10. I returned December 2021 and I was disappointed: - Portions were smaller. The waitresssaid after they reviewed their data they noticed they were giving out too much food for their prices so they pulled back. Goodfor them but sucks for the customer. Example in September I had shrimp rolls (4-6) as an appetizer. December I had only 2. Sameprice! - My waitress told me there was no more Mac and cheese and by the time I was finishing my plate there WAS Mac and cheeseavailable. Idk if she was new but I love the Mac and cheese at this place! (I really went back to treat my family member and getmac and cheese)It goes perfectly with the jerk catfish and to find out they "didn't have it" my order just wasn't as good. Iwish I would've asked the waitress to ask the chef if they were going to make more because no Mac was like going to a burgerplace looking forward to their special with fries only to find out they don't have fries. Traveled in from Dallas with my family of 5. We received excellent, excellent service from staff members and our waitress (she... was kind and patient), and the food was so delicious. Half of our party is vegan, so we had an amazing vegetable curry dish withawesome vegan sides. My family loved everything about this place, and the decor was beautiful as well. They even let us watchthe Dallas cowboys game on the big screen! :) Lastly, we saw the owners on the way out, they took a genuine interest in ourdining experience and were very warm and hospitable.
