4/5 solely because of the 4 tostones costing $5, and only the top one having cheese on top. The arepas— ordered El Pabellon... per recommendation—were a delicious mix of flavors, nicely stuffed, brisket was very flavorful although not the most tender(can look past it, the flavor was that good). New to the area, my family and I swung by the small storefront on a whim without any expectations. The food was... fantastic—we’ll be back. Delicious Venezuelan arepas! Two good veggie options (one of which is vegan). The vegetarian mushroom tacos are also delicious,... although a little salty. The staff is really friendly. Great arepas with an affordable price. You get 2 arepas of your choice for ~$12 that are decently sized (considering that some... places in chicago charge $12-15 for one of the same size). I got the brisket and the steak both were great and had a goodamount of filling. The yuca fries were ok, I would not order again. They offer indoor dining. I think the only thing theyneed to work on is getting more dipping sauce options. Read more
