November 11, 2022 Update: This place still gives me a headache. The food is so good that I don't want to give it up... (specifically the Thai fried rice with tofu and the tiramisu cake), but the service is so mediocre. They always look like theycan take you or leave you, and the bartender doesn't know how to make basic drinks. I asked for a whiskey sour (a very simpledrink to make). She refused and insisted I pick something from the menu instead of actually looking up how to make it. I've onlybeen in here to sit down a handful of times. They hand you the water to pour yourself, which I actually like, and then juststand around occasionally staring at you or dozing off until you leave. Choose delivery. It'll disappoint you less. Originalreview: September 2022 ~ The only restaurant that has better Thai spicy tofu fried rice than this one is Chi Tung. Although Ihave another Thai restaurant that I like slightly more than this one (Pride Sushi & Thai), the rice is why I come back here sooften. (Their sweet potato maki rolls leave much to be desired, and whatever that cheap green stuff is that is NOT wasabi ruinsCalifornia rolls.) Still, the rice remains undefeated. When a family member wanted to order from one of the other restaurants,I really wanted their rice and ordered. Although we got our order and she is obsessed with the Wonton Soup, I am now wary ofthis place. We got a "securely" tied bag but there was this big "V" hole carved out in her vegetable tempura takeout container.It wasn't even subtle like somebody accidentally poked their finger. The cutout styrofoam wasn't even somewhere in the bag. Itwas just this big cut in the box. I'm not sure I'll order from here again. I'll miss the rice, but somebody needs to explainwhy the employees are carving into the takeout containers. That's very, very weird. Read more
Let me start by stating, I have been a strong avid support and patron of this restaurant for YEARS. I order lunch at least twice... a week with the volcano rolls and gyoza as my stample menu options. Last night I was violently Ill immediately after consumingthe volcano rolls. My husband and son had sesame chicken, combo rice and szchwan vegetables without any symptoms. I felt theimportance to letting them know of the matter so I called at 1145am today. Young lady picked up the phone and when I began toinform her of the matter she passed the phone to another personnel. I restarted my conversation to her addressing the time andwhat I ordered and she abruptly interrupted and stated "I'm just the cashier, you need to call back Friday after 5pm orSaturday and talk with management and the owner!" I only contacted them in efforts to have them investigate the issue and see ifthere's problems in the prep area and/or storing of the ingredients. I've been going to little wok for many years because it's down the street from my family home and where I grew up. The food is... good, but this one particular lady is always rude and has no customer service training or just basic manners with being friendlywith customers. I have tried to ignore her terrible customer service by being super kind to see if she will reciprocate it, butNEVER. She served me cold Wasabi mustard from the fridge to take with my HOT SUSHI ROLL, when the room temp bottle was on thebar counter right in front me. When I was getting ready to pour some she came and snatched it away and stated I could not haveany of that because it was for dine in. It was only a small 1 or 1/2oz sauce cup. Whenever she is not there I always receivegreat customer service, as they know I'm a regular. After tonight her attitude is not acceptable. Read more
