Sea Ranch has been one of my favorite sushi places in Evanston for ages. Not only is their sushi delicious and affordable, but... the grocery aisle is super comprehensive for the size! It’s so nice to be able to grab curry mix, Japanese teas, and evenonigiri so close to my home. The main reason I am writing this review is because I was so blown away with their customerservice on a recent order. My friend was visiting and has severe celiac. I was excited to see how large and comprehensive thegluten free menu was. Not only that, but the staff were so careful to package the GF items separately as I requested. Tiny little storefront with 6-8 tables, a significant carry out business, and a small Asian grocery. A deal for good sushi. You... pay a lot more around here for decent sushi if you require a fancier atmosphere. Read more
I visited Sea Ranch for the first time. I am really amazed at their food as well as their service. I ordered a bowl of Beef Udon... soup, a scallop roll, and their famous sushi. The prices are fair, and the ingredients are quality, also the service is awesome.All of their staff here is helpful and friendly. You will absolutely enjoy the place and the ambiance inside. They have so manyfood displays for all the customers to easily pick and order. They have drinks, desserts, appetizers, and others. Such a placefull of affordable and awesome foods. Their sushi is very consistent and tastier than the sushi of other places I have beenvisited before. All of their selection for sushi is mouth-watering, so delicious, and plated so well. You will absolutely loveeach of every sushi flavor they have. You can also buy anything here in such a fair price. No wonder why a lot of people keepcoming back here and really keep loving this place. Sea Ranch is the fun shop to go for some Japanese groceries and stuff. Thisplace is waiting for you! I finally made it to Sea Ranch, loved it! Dined in, had a Scallop Roll and Eel Roll with Cucumber, both excellent! Great... prices as well, very fresh ingredients, rolled right then. Cute, small place well laid out with a small grocery section withabout a dozen tables of 2 or 4 with comfortable seating. Check it out! I know I'll be back. I was going to take a pic of themeal right away, but it looked so good I dug into it right away, remembered after a few bites! Read more
Very consistent good quality sushi in Evanston - you get what you would expect but nothing super spectacular. Take out orders... are always properly wrapped to make sure it’s in the best quality to eat at home. Other than sushi, the store also sells manydifferent Japanese products such as seasoning, ramen and mochi. Read more
A cute little market that has delicious sushi. My partner and I are personally like getting two of the sushi deluxe combos and... the value is beyond worth. The cuts of fish for nigiri are very generous and fresh. The maki rolls have a good amount ofingredients as well. The staff is very friendly and always greet even when it’s just pickup.
