I?m going to give 5 stars but wish I could do 6. Ordered the sizzling fajitas, steak and chicken, and they were absolutely bomb.... They crushed it with the taste, the tortillas were really great also. Great taste, nice sized bell pepper slices, as well asonions. My pops got the breakfast sandwich which yes, I get it fajitas and across the way breakfast?! Yes. But they crush it!! Iwas told the sandwich was really good, and he?s the one who makes breakfast sandwiches at home. I will say, the bread could looka little better than easy store bought, but he thought it was fine. The chips and salsa and queso was really good and they madesure we had our drinks refilled. Came on a little fall leaf drive from Utah, and we?re super pleased. This place was weird. It looked really nice, the atmosphere had us excited to eat. No one ever came out. There was a bunch of... people sitting around waiting who had also never seen someone to seat them. Some had been waiting for 20 min in the front. A lotof people just started leaving. Just saw a single waitress on the floor. Felt pretty bad for her. But it was a very strangeexperience. We left and chose somewhere else to eat. Read more

Hard to write a review, since we went back to give it a second chance after it first opened and didnt have a great experience.... Waitresses were very nice and atmosphere was nice. Unfortunately, they got our drinks wrong, it was hard getting service becauseI think they were understaffed ( which is understandable because everywhere is )had to ask for silverware, our side of extrafries came out after my husband was done eating, and they put bbq sauce on the burger. Which is fine, but it didn't state thaton the menu. Burgers weren't bad, but not the best. Fries and onion rings, really good though! Good prices as well.Maybe if wegot Mexican food it would have been better. Read more

This was really fun. It's a pleasant, cheerful restaurant with western theme mixed with cultural aspects as well. The food is... superb! The establishment is clean, the servers are courteous, cheerful, and fun, and I had a great time here visiting with mybrother and sister, whom I had not seen in too long! You'll be beyond satisfied to give El Paso a try! Read more

Awesome portions and food is prepared hot and fresh. Great flavor and the appetizers are priced well.

Passing through Evanston and searched for Mexican food. We were fortunate to find El Paso Restaurant! The chips and salsa were... so fresh and tasty! We each ordered something different and everything was very good. The nice setting and decor just added tothe ambiance. Highly recommend! Read more

This was a hard review to write. I've been to this restaurant twice in the past couple of weeks, both times with friends from... out of town. Usually I take visitors to Jalisco's down the street because the food is great and the people are really nice. Butwhen this place opened I thought I should give it a try. The restaurant is really nice inside, nice atmosphere beautifulbuilding. The first time I went, there was staff everywhere! We had three different people ask us what we wanted to drink! Itwas nice to have so many people to help us. The food however, gets a mixed review. I got a BLT and it was pretty forgettable. Myfriends said they're Mexican dishes were okay. The second time I went, we waited 15 minutes before anyone asked us what wewanted to drink or anything. The food was okay at best, and one of my friends didn't get everything she ordered. I got thebarbecue burger, and the "barbecue " consisted of a small swirl of some packaged barbecue sauce I think. It really wasn't verygood. For what you get, the food is really overpriced in my opinion. I'll keep going to Jalisco's in future! Read more
