Barnes and noble is a unique experience, like a slightly less exciting toy store, but it still keeps you entertained there for a... few hours Read more

This cafe is open later than any other in Evansville. Free Wifi of course. And a nice employee helped my son find the manga... section of the bookstore while I was working on my laptop. (Apparently they've doubled the scope of their manga collection inthe past year.) I've also taken my husband here, and he loves the chocolate cheesecake and pastries. Really nice addition to theEvansville shopscape. However the cafe part is small and people tend to talk a lot so bring your earphones if you need youraural space. Read more

A large, two story building that seems to strike the near perfect balance of full but not crowded. You are greeted by game and... creative kits at the entrance hall, then a cafe, book recommendations and a wide open view of what the bookstore has tooffer. The included Starbucks is expensive for my tastes, but the staff are usually friendly and accommodating. One helped meget a coffee drink I loved, even with the catch that I hated coffee and didn't know what I was doing. (The drink was pricy, butexactly within my tastes. I just need to set aside $10-20 for a decent drink and snack when I plan to stay longer. You know howin-store shops are.) The entire bookstore is clean and organized. There's a game and small toy area towards the back, withchildren's books, comics, manga, music, fiction and TTRPGs (D&D) on the second floor. As a nerd? This is a little slice ofheaven. But if you need a place to study that isn't the nearby library, this place also has free wifi and a few tables andchairs tucked away. I don't remember seeing wheelchair accommodations to the second floor. I'll have to check next time I'mover, to be sure (it's probably in the back and I just missed it). Luckily, bathrooms are on the first and escalators are usedinstead of stairs. Read more

B&N saved the day! It's a 40min drive to any cool stores for me. The one I made the drive for was a disappointment. B&N was... near-by with great books and prices. Spent 1.5 hours there. Love it!! Read more

I was really surprised at the board game section! They had quite a few nice games. I really wish they selection for photography... was a little more extensive. The most I really found was magazines. Overall, my experience there is positive. I love sittingwith my chromebook and relaxing upstairs. Read more
