Absolutely terrible experience. Waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged once seated. Was never brought chips and salsa until... AFTER drink order was taken. Brought the bowl of queso with drinks and still didn't bring chips until asked. Not sure how youbring queso to a table with no chips. Food was cold and poor quality. Wait staff was more worried about family or friends thatwere there or being on cell phones. End of meal we had to go get our own to go boxes as they were not checking on us. Wasn'tuntil we did that the waitress came over with the check and a pitiful sorry. Just said sorry. And walked away. Terribleexperience. I'm not sure why I give this place try after try after try, it never is a great experience there. It's okay Don't get me wrong.... The staff is really nice, but we waited forever for someone to take our order, and the food just wasn't spectacular It was justehhhh... I guess I'm just spoiled by owensboro's Mexican food. Stopped by los Bravo's Mexican restaurant to check it out, my wife ordered Hurracha Chicken, a dish that was chicken on flat... bread. It was OK, not great. I ordered a burrito plate that came with 2 burritos, it was average, nothing special. Nothingspecial about this restaurant, altogether. The waiter brought out a small basket of chips and just 2 small bowls of salsa whichwas kinda chincy, I thought. Therefore just 3 stars. Read more

If you live on the west side that is unfortunate because East side Los Bravos is undeniably better. Was very disappointed with... the quality of food and especially our service. Waitress had far too many tables and left us unattended. We had no drinks theentire time we ate our food and she didn?t come to check on us until we were finished. She was very rude when I honestlyanswered ?no? to ?is everything alright?? Pollo Azteca is one of my favorite dishes from here, but tonight at this location theveggies were very undercooked and the chicken was thin and dry. We will be sticking to the East side from now on! Decent mexican food. Nice atmosphere. I liked the queso and rice. Tamales were ok. I'd go here over La Hacienda for sure. Prices... were fair and you get plenty of food. Staff was sharp. My Wife and I dine out often and had not ate here until a week ago. A friend of ours told us this place was fantastic. We ate... there several days later and we are glad we did! We were greeted and seated promptly by Amparo, our wonderful waitress, whotreated us like family. She passed our table often and done an amazing job! The food was sooo good and the drinks are too! It's a decent place to grab some mexican food that is Americanized enough that the pickiest could find something. Great prices... and the staff are always friendly. Been going for years and I've never had a bad experience. Read more
