I had been craving a good pizza for a a couple of weeks now. Finally ordered one from Steve's Una pizza. Pizza arrived and I... was disheartened. It looked like it was a old pizza reheated.The cheese was hard. I reheated it this morning and it stilltasted the same ...old. We tried calling order in and a weird way for letting customers know you are on another call it asks for your number. So with... us not knowing that we drove 20 minutes to order and then 45-50 minute wait. We ordered stromboli and a pizza not worth drive ormoney. I hate to leave reviews let alone a bad review but as a person who has been around the world and the US this pizza one the worst... i have ever had. The crust taste like a saltine cracker..My educated guess is most people in this town have not traveled muchaway from this area thus have nothing to base their judgment on this pizza, based on the good reviews..Probably never had REALpizza or just have bland tastebuds like most of Indiana. There are other restaurants in this town that have high reviews that itried that are the same way..Bland..Kudos for this spot being busy though. My very first time here, I was recommended the Texas BBQ with pork meat and the Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich by the gentleman... who took my order. Even though there was a 30 minute wait, the food was fantastic. Will definitely be back to try more of themenu. Everyone should check this place out! Read more
Ordered Steve's since my husband has shockingly never had it! Got the 14" house special, cheesy breadsticks, pepperoncinis,... marinara, and jalapeño cheese sauces. The pizza was absolutely delicious! Cheesy breadsticks were ok...nothing really special(sorry) You can't beat Steve's for the thin crust pizza! The toppings are high quality, cheese is perfect, and pizza sauce iszesty! (I just can't stand a sweet sauce) My husband was very impressed and we will be ordering again! I just really wishSteve's would create a REAL Chicago style pizza! If any local pizza place can do it, Steve's is the spot. I can't find ONE trueChicago style pizza in the area and your flavor is unlike any other Una pizza, so that would be a big move! It wouldsignificantly put you on the map and people would come from all over, to get one! Start with one size and watch what wouldhappen! I?m new to the area, heard about Steve?s UNA pizza from a friend. I knew it was the real deal when I arrived. Got there and our order was still in oven but was impressed by the fact they actually said I could wait in my truck and they... would bring out to us when it was ready. As for the pizza and cheese bread.... as expected DELICIOUS! Perfectly cooked and waymore than we could eat between the two of us. Yes folks, that's my full size microwave next to that box.
