I have had more than a few trips to this location when the pump is out of paper for receipts. It is inconvenient to wait in the... long line at the register just for the receipt. I called the manager, named Rana, and told her about the frequency of thishappening. She was extremely polite and said I don't blame you for being upset! If that happens again feel free to use the PA atthe pump and ask the cashier to walk your receipt out to you! The last 6 trips the pump printed my receipt. Very good managerat this location! Used to be good service and realitivly good food for a "gas station". Today I search for alternatives, as the lines are long... and management is rude. The regular staff seem to be trying hard, but this place isn't ran like the other Thorntonsstations. 10/22/21 update: Went back today.... long lines with employees ignoring customers. It's a gas station, it's clean considering how busy it always is. They should create a better way of waiting in line to check... out. Currently the line will prevent other customers from being able to access half the store. Read more
I'm an employee and just wanted to say that a lot of customers think our job is easy and it's not. We try very hard to satisfy... you guys to the fullest!! We try to learn who you are and what you want and even how you want it. Some of my coworkersdefinitely don't get enough credit. And to the comment that someone lost their wallet and was interrupted and told it wasn'tthere and there wasn't enough time to check? We have a cabinet right by the phone that we use all day for not just lost things.We have keys. So we are constantly opening it. More than likely we already know what's in the cabinet and what's not. Probablydidn't wanna waste her time and knew we didn't have a wallet. To help any customers wanting to shop here.. we don't carry somethings the other stores do so if it's something specific you may want to call and make sure we carry it.
