My go-to Japan place in the area. I'm basic so I'm mostly here for gyoza and sushi but I get a lot of it here and I'm never... disappointed. It's where I introduce most of my friend group to venture into Japanese food. My favorite place for sushi in thearea hands down. My mains are The Black Dragon Roll and The Caterpillar Roll but I'm always trying a different one of theirmany other options for my third. Stopped in on Saturday Evening for a birthday dinner with my wife. We were promptly seated with a family that had an open side... at their grill which is usual and we were very happy to be seated so quickly. Our waters came to the table just as fast. Ourwaitress was quick to get the orders in but then we didn?t see her much after that. There was a gentlemen that brought out soupand Salad and saw we needed drinks and took it upon himself to make sure to do so. The rest of the night we kept having to flagdown or walk up to the sushi bar for any sort of service beyond what was being cooked on the grill in front of us. We received great service from Kalyia and Zach and yo yo! Yo yo was really funny while cooking our food. Zach was pushing... through a busy day. Kalyia checked on us a lot too which was nice. We went there for lunch, and we were not disappointed. They had a lot of great choices, the Sushi menu was extensive to say the... least. And hibachi was perfect! The shaft at a wonderful job of entertaining and cooking everything just like we like it.Fortunately for us it was not overcrowded, and it really was very accommodating. Met a friend for lunch here today. Staff was attentive and quick. Started with a salad for me, and soup for my friend. My... salad was OK, very watery at the bottom. I ordered a salmon topped sushi roll. It tasted good but the salmon didn't look freshlike it does at Domo. The hibachi show was cute. Good but nothing special. I ordered the shrimp with calamari lunch combo. Myfriend got the teriyaki steak lunch. Both our meals were delicious. The calamari was cooked perfectly. Tender, not chewy atall.
