If we could chose ZERO stars we would. My family made reservations for a dinner on Saturday the 17th. My dad and brother-in- law... got seriously ill. My dad is hoping to be released from the hospital today after an 11 day stay being treated for a enterococcusbacteria infection . He has been on an IV receiving antibiotics. My brother-in-law seems to be making recovery as well,although he wasn't in the hospital he was very sick and is currently still on antibiotics for an EColi bacteria infection. I got the bbq plate- Worst meal I’ve ever had,tasteless garbage,the rice was all clumped ,sausage tasted like it was cooked... the day before, and they put a cold salad in with the hot “food”, And I use the word food loosely. I couldn’t even tellthe chicken was chicken, it looked like 2 small nuggets and not breaded….very dissatisfied. Read more
A real life Kitchen Nightmare, this place has a chef who has lost his passion. 0 and 2 with gross dishes, and I actually felt... physically sick after about 10 bites. 2 stars because the staff is very personable and kind, and even took my meal off our finalcheck when I sent it back. The place is not bad. It doesn't really have an atmosphere, no music, nothing. But its food was highly rated. I don't know if... they had staff problems or what, but the service took YEARS! It seems to me that there was only one person in the kitchen andonly one person tending the tables. If lack of staff was the problem I would not want to be unfair in saying that the place haspoor service per ce. The food is indeed very good, all the dishes that were ordered were very tasty and very abundant. Theentrees were also very tasty. In general terms the experience was good. Yes, I would return to the place for its food but notat all for its service. They definitely need to hire more staff. Read more

Been coming here my whole life, my parents live a 1 min walk away. The food has remained consistent & amazing. North end quality... without the hassle. Love the chicken broccoli fusilli & gnocchis. But honestly everything is very good!! Read more
In town for business and heard about Abbondanza from a co-worker. This place was great. Wait staff was super attentive and the... food was awesome. From the homemade bread, homemade dressings for the salad, to the ridiculously delicious entrees. I had theRavioli Pomodoro. So far this has been one of the best dinners that we have had to multiple trips to this area. Read more
Another excellent experience at Abbondanza! The waiters make you feel right at home and take great care of their customers. The... food is authentic and homestyle Italian cuisine, taste like Italy. My favorite is the eggplant rollatini appetizer and of coursethe infamous chicken parm. I love this place, it is my favorite hidden gem. Read more
