After reading recent low reviews we decided to try this place anyways and I have got to disagree with the negative nancys before... me. The space was beautiful, lots of warm wood, options for seating and on the water. Cocktails are creative, food is flavorfuland fresh and the service was great. While the mixed drinks in the restaurant are the best I've ever had (although the prices reflect their exclusivity ????) the... wait staff was so slow, we had to get her attention to order a drink and it took 20 minutes to get it even though there was onlyone other couple to serve. THEN they automatically charge 20% gratuity! Is that not up to me determine by the service Ireceive?? Obviously the owners do not pay the staff enough to retain them but instead have to soak the customers for theirwages. Sorry, as much as I love coming here, I'm not going to be back nor recommend Blue Water to anyone I know unless thischanges in a short amount of time. Read more

Will not come back! If you want to visit a place where you are not welcomed and feel like you are being an inconvenience, then... take that emotional rollercoaster at Bluewater! We used to frequent this place but something changed in the summer of 2022 andthe staff got terrible. Very bad service. Cocktails are fantastic-5stars! Some of the best in the area. Food is great - 4.5stars. Service is terrible - negative stars! The staff does not have a heart of service. Any pleasantry you will get upon entryis just lip service. They have no idea what service is and don?t care about your needs. They add an automatic 20% gratuity - sothey have no motivation to make your stay pleasant. This is not a cheap place with terrible service. I suggest taking a strolldown the waterfront to Anthony?s. Much superior value there. Read more

Gluten and soy-free diner here. Celebrated my best friend's birthday this past Friday evening, and a great meal was had by all!... My companions had the chowder and fish tacos, respectively. I had the Salmon with ancient grains, and it was excellent!! Juneau Elizabeth, my 6 year-old Siberian Husky rescue, thought so too. Popped in for a quick bite of dessert. Was delish! Definitely coming back to try food and drinks.

Not kid friendly and our server was not friendly at all! I called ahead and asked because it was two families with one toddler... and two infants. They didn?t have a kid menu and when we got there the server was so rude. She said, ?ugh I guess we can allowchildren in here? they had no plastic cups or straws for the baby. She then said, ?ya were not going to cater to them? referringto children. The food and drinks were ok. I got a steak salad and it came out so chewy it had to be remade. The lavender lemondrop martini was delicious and the only that made the night not horrible. All around I would never go back. Not even on a nightwithout having kids. They were so rude. They even gave me a broken high chair. Then they build in 20% gratuity. This place wasabsolutely horrible. I felt uncomfortable for the most part. I have served at Anthony?s right around the corner and it?s muchbetter food and more ?fancy? and I have never treated a family like that. I?m a bartender now and I would never treat peoplelike that. The girl in the front working the restaurant side was absolutely horrible. She is not meant for customer service. Iwill also say I don?t like serving families it?s a lot more work I prefer a bar setting but.. Came here for a date night and really enjoyed ourselves. Had multiple drinks that tasted great. Amazing service - funny guys. A... little slow at times for service but it was fine because we were talking and enjoying our time out. Charcuterie board was yummy.Definitely spendy! But was a great night. Read more
