Update 6months later: immediately after I wrote this review they commented, apologizing, asking me to email them. I emailed them... and they never responded. Poor game Dickey's Unfortunately this is the second time I have been incredibly disappointed with myPork Rib meal. The small sides are too small. A large size is too large. The roll is too small. And the ribs. The ribs wereawful. They do not fall off the bone. They are dry. There was no BBQ sauce to be found. I didn't realize I had to ask forpickles and onions. I did not have to ask in the past. The food was ready in zero minutes, which I find alarming. The portion ofribs would have been appreciated had they been good and if the sides were proportional enough to enjoy with the portion of meat.$19 plus $2 small soda plus tax plus tip came out to $27 for a mediocre dinner for one. I wish I had gone elsewhere and saved mymoney. Nothing about this tasted or reminded me of Texas. Especially the crazy price. Very disappointed. Bad value. I have tried this place several times and want to like it, the meat tends to be in the dry side which is unfortunate and I often... feel it doesn?t come with enough sauce. Considering that BBQ is so expensive as is, it?s a bummer to be disappointed. Our pulledpork sandwiches were super dry tonight. Last time I got brisket and it was similar. We paid $13 per sandwich and the portionsize is really small and has no sides. I wound up snacking after finishing my meal. Read more
I went to this location today and was completely disappointed! I love BBQ and was craving it so I decided to stop by and give it... a chance. I immediately regretted it. I got brisket, Mac n cheese, and potato salad. The brisket was cold and tough. Almost $20for a meal I figured I?d get something decent. But to say the least it was sad. Never coming again. Ate here for the first time a couple weeks ago before heading to the theater. Got the chicken breast and jalapeno cheese... kielbasa. It was fantastic! The seasoning in the chicken was probably the best I've ever had, and the sausage was just sodelicious. I'm definitely going back again! Gave me gas big time, but as I was going to watch the new Top Gun movie, I justwaited for loud scenes to let it rip! (Probably just added to the bass rumble of the movie experience.) Read more
Placed an order for 2. Got no napkins no utensils no pickes and onions. Got meat plate meat was dry chunky and hard. The bread... was rock hard. Baked beans lid wasn't closed spilled in bag no napkins to clean up. Went to the beach to eat and catchsunset.ended up a complete fail as I couldn't eat mac and cheese baked beans or potatoes Casarol with no utensils. Worst 50dollors spent all went to trash. Dickeys BBQ has always been our favorite. Our family loves to cook but when we have big events and we want our guests to enjoy... amazing food, we call Dickey?s. My husband had his 50th Birthday Party yesterday. Everyone was so impressed by the food andservice. Chad the owner and his family setup early enough to make sure we were relaxed as hosts. Their beef brisket, pulledpork, mac and cheese, baked beans, corn muffin and potato salad were incredible. Everyone had more than enough plus extra forfamilies to take home. Chad always goes above and beyond. He is indeed a humble servant using his gifts to minister to othersthrough his business. We highly recommend Dickey?s. Cheers to many more successful years! Wow! Great BBQ!! We tried so many things but what stood out the most was the ribs with sweet sauce, jalapeño cheddar sausage,... and creamed spinach. We went to the drive-thru and ordered between 1/2-1lbs of various meats a la carte and they were all freshand hot. My dad is a long time Grill Master and he was loving everything he tried. Read more
Stopped in on Veteran's Day to grab a free pulled pork sandwich and I was actually quite surprised. Not only was the food... excellent but the ladies on the staff that were working could NOT have been nicer than they were with me. Very friendly and Ireceived at least one "thank you for your service" compliment from each staff member.
