I went to the location hoping to get some ramen at 6:45 pm on Sunday, and they were closed. Closed during their posted business... hours, they are supposed to close at 8:30 pm Sunday. There was no explanation on the door. Definitely call ahead to see if theyare doing their job or not. I'll change my review if they open during their business hours. Read more

I used to really like these guys under the former ownership, but they just aren't as good anymore. You can't even rely on them... to be open for the hours they are supposed to be. I don't know if they just decided not to open for lunch anymore, but maybeupdate the hours on the front door? Aside from that the food just isn't as tasty. The raman is pretty bland, the sushi rollsare just mediocre, and the service is lackluster. I watched two people come in and be seated, then wait for 10 minutes to havenobody came to ask them about drinks. Eventually they just left. The place was basically empty at the time. Read more

The owners(?) are super friendly and welcoming. My bowl had plenty of noodles and the pork was perfectly tender. I'll absolutely... be back. Read more

Every time I visit J's I try something different and I like it even more than the last dish. I adore this hidden little gem!

Restaurant itself has great interior and design, the staff was average and the Takoyaki was amazing. Have to take away two stars... as the quality of the Ramen there was very bad. I had the Tonkotsu Miso Ramen and the broth was very watery and almost had notaste, the noodles were soggy and some were clumped together, and the toppings were not great either. The eggs were very verysoft and not like Ajitsuke Tamagos, the meat was quite hard and not like standard Chashu at all and all ramen were described tobe Tonkotsu Ramen in the menu. I also tried the Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen just in case it was just the miso ramen that was faulty andthey were sadly very similar. If I were to go this restaurant again, it'd only be for Sushi and Takoyaki, not for Ramen. Read more

First time here and it was solid!! Food overall was 5 stars. Service was good but sushi was quite delayed. We were warned ahead... of time, though, so they know this is an issue. Spicy tonkatsu was well done and the takoyaki was some of the best I have hadboth in Japan and in the US. Sushi was fresh and on point. Will definitely be back!! Read more

J Ramen & Sushi is a tiny li'l place with a big ol' well-deserved reputation! I'm definitely going back to try their ramen... -which is what they're most known for. On this visit I took it easy with a gorgeous bottle of Nigori; a pear-scented rice winew/a pearlescent sediment that rises to the top when its poured, along side what I'm sure are 2 of their best-selling specialtysushi rolls; the Seahawks Roll & Dragon Roll. Both were great, and we ordered seconds. Parking is adequate, easy and free. Ican't wait to go back for that ramen. Honestly I should've ordered some this trip, but I was on a first-ish date, and didn'twanna end up being all slurpy and whatnot. In hindsight, I should've just gone for it. Read more
