Decided to get a drink on my way out of Safeway this morning & the young man working (I believe his name was Christian) greeted... me the second I walked up & he answered every question I had regarding the drinks & sizes . I usually buy drinks premade in thegrocery store so I had no idea what to order. Anyway Christian was helpful & very nice young man, he made me a tasty frappe &said have a good day or nice day something to that effect. I was disappointed with my experience today. I usually get great service here, but today wasn?t so good. It seemed to be the... lady that was working there by herself this morning last day there & she seemed really down. Not sure if it was bc it was herlast day there? Or bc she was working by herself & according to her, it sounded like they don?t have enough coverage. Iunderstand her frustration, but doesn?t make it right to not provide excellent customer service. I asked for a EXTRA shot ofexpresso & NO whip cream & got the total opposite for both!! Definitely not worth $6 & a $5 TIP! ??????????????? Read more
The service I received here today was awful. Apparently there was a not-so-great interaction at this Starbucks with a co-worker... of mine, and the manager and one of her employees decided to take it out on me. As I'm walking up to place an order for someoneelse I'm getting death stares from the manager and her employee, followed by a very rude "No!" from the manager. She then rudelyasks me how many drinks I'm ordering and who it's for like she's isn't going to take my order unless she approves of my answers(are you kidding me!). I'm not sure why I was the target for this manager and her employee, as I've always been nice to them.Even when they screw up my order I'm nice about it. Central place to where a lot of people live, this store gets busy. Staff do a good job of making your order quick once you can... make it. Morning Rush is insanely busy at the drive through so parking and walk in, it won't take so long. Buy some pastry it'sworth it. Read more
9/19 update. Saw Guatemala on drip posted. Was told it was gone but they could do a pour over. OMG SUPER BITTER!! Worse than... Pikes. Starbucks is synonymous with the worst coffee in the Seattle area to me now. On par with airline Coach coffee. 8/15 Usedto be you could most days get a decent Sumatra or other single source bean on drip. Now all they have are cheapo blends likethe hideous Pike's Peak that are a disaster of bitterness. Folgers instant is much better. Even their Nitro Cold Brew ishideously bitter and old tasting. And their pastry menu has not been updated in ages. No wonder the little drive thru kioskswith conscientious coffee and simple muffin tops are eating Starbucks lunch. Read more
