One of my favorite coffee shops in the area! Right in the middle of Downtown Excelsior, you can't beat the location and ability... to grab a cup of joe and walk the lakefront. Stopped by for lunch while visiting the area. Order at counter and they bring to the table. The owners weren't welcoming or... friendly which immediately took away from my experience. I ordered a Naan pepperoni pizza and diet Pepsi for lunch. Asked for alittle extra cheese on the pizza and was met with dirty looks. Paid with cash and they didn't want to break a $50, so I did a$20 instead. Clearly did not want cash payment, but that's my preferred method of payment. Found a table by the window andenjoyed a lovely view while waiting for my pizza. The pizza itself was delicious. No idea whether it had extra cheese, but itwas really good. Came out in about 15 minutes. The total was $12. When I left, walking directly by the front counter andowners, neither said thanks or good day or anything. Hm. Anyway - good lunch pizza! No reason to try them again. There were adozen other places surrounding them that I will check out to receive hopefully better service. Read more
We enjoyed this Friendly, very clean coffee house. My triple espresso was perfect, I would describe it as A very flavorful deep... roasted bean with hints of dark chocolate & bitters, Just a splash of steamed whole milk and it was perfect. Read more
So excited they had Guatemalan dark beans. The baristas are lovely young ladies and service oriented. One suggestion; replace... your strawberry/cream cheese croissant with the more flavorful cheese danish! Read more
Great food. But I am disgusted by there mask policy. If your eating inside there is no need to wear a mask unless your eating.... As well as this the staff only wear make when they are taking your order. They are all chatting up a storm while making foodwith no mask. As well as this when I was in there all 3 of the employs without mask on were talking to a customer/friend who wasjoking about not wearing a mask. Having asthma I find this completely not professional. Do better Dun Brothers. Read more
Very nice spot to grab coffee in Excelsior. The employees are always on their game and get orders out fast. There's an indoor... seating area and an outdoor patio. I'm more of a fan of indoor seating because it can be quite loud on the sidewalk whenExcelsior is busy. If you're looking for a great spot to get coffee and pastries, this is the place to go.
