My friend and I were seated by the hostess, and half an hour later, we still hadn’t seen our server. We waved down the... hostess, who said she would send her over right away. Around 15 minutes later, our server finally came over. She was very kind,but we were a little tired of waiting. Our food also took a long time, which is to be expected with sushi. The lychee martiniwas not good. Our sushi rolls were just okay. The chicken pad Thai smelled very strange, but it tasted pretty good. It wasexpensive, but nothing crazy for a sushi restaurant. This is our monthly go to date night location! We have also included anniversary and Valentine's Day as well, because it is so... exceptional. Been here several times over the past few years and it was good, but it seems to be getting even better. Yoshi roll and Lotus... roll (both pictured) were pretty incredible as well as the yellowtail appetizer that is always my wife's favorite. Don't letthe strip-mall facade scare you away, this place is legit. Read more
Gem of a sushi joint in the heart of beautiful little excelsior right on the lake. The apps were delightful and the cocktails... superb. Our sushi rolls were crafted with utmost care and attention to detail. Very fun and delicious rolls offered. Tried acouple of other entrees and all of them were delectable. Service was friendly and helpful too. We will definitely be back andwill recommend this place to all sushi fanatics. Read more
