Went for my wife's Birthday dinner on 8/20/22 with family. To start my brother and sister had the lobster bisque they both... complained that there was no cream and had little to no lobster and didn't taste good. My wife had the bacon corn chowder thatshe did enjoy as me and my sister-in-law enjoyed raw oysters. For our main dishes my wife had the crab legs she said they werefine as well as the salad with fish my sister-in-law had. My brother had the crab cakes, they were all cake and a hint of crabflavor. My sister and myself had what was listed as shrimp with crab imperial ( stuffed shrimp) on the menu, but what we got was3 shrimp with meatball sized crab cakes on top. Told you about the crab cakes already. The side vegetables were the best part ofthe meal. So not to sound like I'm just bad mouthing everything, our Waiter was excellent and friendly. I suggested going herebecause years ago my wife and I had come for a friend's 90th birthday and everything was delicious. Sorry it went down hillfrom there. We will not be back. Read more
Super disappointing. After 10 mins I had to ask a waitress if she could take our order. She said our server Mark would be right... over. It never got better. Mark seemed really distracted by something other than our business. The medium burger was well done.I wanted to like it, but couldn’t lie to myself that deeply. My first time here. The atmosphere is great, the service was a little slow but I expected that during dinner time. The... appetizers were really good, clams and mussels. My crab stuffed shrimp entree was delicious! My partner's salmon entree wassomewhat mediocre though and for the price of the meals (he only ate the salmon and left the rest) I felt that wasnt worth the 5stars. Nice spot though. Read more
Atmosphere is enjoyable. Outdoor seating has great views and sounds of adjacent park. You can people watch all day. Staff very... Friendly and attentive. Come in hungry….go home ready for a nap. Read more
We have not been here in a long time, now I remember why. Its just not my cup of tea. The service was good, the food was good,... not great just good. (We ordered wings for an app, they were good, 9 in the order but we were told ten. You get celery and bluecheese though.) The area around it has grown a lot since our last visit and it seems to be a bit eclectic, so if thats your cupof tea check the joint out. This is a Chester Springs staple. Over the years its had its share of up's and downs, but it has remained despite all the... challenges. Food is good, but drinks can be a little pricey. Fun atmosphere and plenty of space. They also have ample outdoorseating but on music in the park nights and sunny pleasant days, they fill up quickly. Attended a bridal shower here. The room and the servers were great. The buffet food was excellent, especially the salad with... goat cheese and the chicken salad-BLT half sandwiches. Yummy pasta (ravioli), too. Very nice ambiance. Read more
