Table was sticky. Food was bland in general. Had chips and salsa (complimentary offering to all) and a chimichanga. The... chimichanga was doughy and chewy instead of crispy. It came with rice and beans. The beans were a bland paste. The rice wasovercooked to the point of being like sticky rice with an orange hue. The staff was nice and did a good job. The decore is good. I ordered the Red snapper (whole fish) and 8t came with a side of yellow rice, black beans and a salad. My waitress Jessica was... phenomenal. She checked in all the time and asked my honest opinion. She even allowed me to sample the pintos beans and twoflavors of ice cream (corn and avocado). They were both amazing! Read more
Everytime I go then staff treats me like family. Maria is amazing the food is always made to order and they always get it right.... I absolutely love this place. When my friends and I have a taste for Mexican food we always end up at Buho's. Read more
Good food and a nice little space. Menu was authentic and reasonably priced. No complaints, my tamale was one of the better... ones I've had, Chile relleno was good not great, and the rice and beans were good. Would definitely try it again sometime. Read more
We went there for the first time on kind of a busy Friday evening. We got there at about 4:30pm and walked in to be sat. Nobody... greeted us as there was about 10 people waiting to be sat that seemed to be in a large party together. We waited 10 minutes.Another group came in after us to be sat. They were then sat before us. We finally decided to speak to the host directly. Heasked us to keep waiting. Then finally asked if we were take out or eating in. We asked for a table and after another minute, hefinally brought us to one outside, at our suggestion. He forgot to bring us menus. So we couldn't even look at menus, while wewaited for the waitress. Then when the waitress came out, she went to all the other tables around us first. We finally decidedto just leave. At which point the waitress called out after us, saying she could take our orders.
