I tried many sushi places in the area and in Rockland County, and this is by far the best sushi I had in years. Also, as a... vegan, I don't eat fish. I was impressed that without me saying anything, the worker changed gloves and kept everything cleanbetween orders, which makes the difference for me. I will definitely come back for more. ???? Mashu Mashu is my go-to sushi place. Everything I have tried was amazing. I have never tried a sushi burger before so I decided... to try it. I only need to use one word to describe it...breathtaking. The burger was perfectly cooked and with the sauces likespicy mayo and the jalapeno sauce topped on the burger, it was a meal that I could eat pretty much everyday. The workers are allvery kind. The food wasn?t fresh. The rice on the sushi roll was hard-ish, the ginger was wet and dark like it?s been cut and saved for... days, I asked for spicy crab rolls and they poured so much of the spicy sauce on top it was disgusting and to top it off none ofthe employees were wearing masks. I went there about a year ago but the negative memory is very strong so I took it upon myself to write this review. We were... deceived by all these positive reviews and it really made me take things with a larger grain of salt. I don't know if I ate atthe same place everyone else did. We got a variety of sushi all of which was very sub-par especially considering the price it'sbeing sold at. We were given Miso soup which did not taste like miso and had improperly cooked and wrong type tofu. In additionwe went during peak pandemic and the person who took our order and handed us our food wasn't even wearing a mask. I'm gladother people enjoy it but I'm amazed at how. If you are not bound by Kosher eating I advise you to stay far away. For those whoenjoy it I am glad you do but please don't point people in this direction you're cheating them out of both their money andeating experience. Read more

We don't live local and were passing through Fair Lawn and saw there was a Kosher Sushi place and were immediately excited. I... have a sesame allergy so have to be careful since unfortunately many sushi stores throw sesame on everything. I was super happywhen I called and was told no they don't put sesame regularly on all their sushi. I placed an order and was super excited whenwe picked it up. Unfortunately I made a mistake when I read the menu and didn't realize the Sushi I had ordered had raw onion init. I sadly can't eat raw onion. I called the store and spoke with them and they were super nice. They made me a new Sushi rolland didn't even charge me for it! It was one of the best Sushi rolls I have ever had!!! I am so glad we stopped by. I highlyrecommend this Sushi place to everyone!!! Read more
