Everything was excellent, from the beginning to the end!! We usually go to the Edgewater location and decided to stay local and... try Fairlawn and they definitely live up to the name !! We had a client event that was partially paid for by a vendor early in the morning. As seen below the River Palm confirmed the... credit was applied earlier in the day and even when we walked in we confirmed with the host that the credit was applied. At theend of the dinner the manager emailed us saying that the credit card code was incorrect for the previous credit that should havealready applied from the vendor. We finished our dinner after 6:30 and I could not get in touch our vendor for a credit cardcode. I offered several solutions the first was to pay the tab in full and asked if we could correct the following day as thevendor office was closed. I also asked if he could hold my credit card and license until the following morning. He denied alland even threatened to call the cops. We asked him to call the cops but he did not. We eventually had been able to get thecredit card code from the vendor which resolved the issue but we will never return after coming here multiple times a year. Nickthe manager is the problem. Also why did you email me towards the end of the dinner why didn?t you come to my table? This was asimple mistake that could have been resolved. Read more
I came here for a mother?s day dinner as this kind of cuisine is normally a bit fancy for me. The experience at this... establishment was not too bad regarding food quality, I just wish there was a little bit more of it. Our waiter was very niceand tentative to our table for the most part. There was just a little bit of difficulty in the beginning. The waiter initiallyasked us for our order and my mother needed a minute to decide. When she said she needed a minute, she did not mean 10. Whileonly 10 minutes passed, it feels longer when you are hungry and waiting for food. I am always afraid to ask for a minute from awaiter at restaurants for this very reason. I even noticed our waiter took the dessert order for another huge table, broughtthem their dessert, and gave them their check all in between the time we were waiting to order. When our time finally came, weordered the dragon roll to start which was 20 bucks; while the sushi was delicious and on a fancy plate, 20 bucks is the priceof a pizza to which I can be full for an entire day. The quality of the sushi was good, as said I just wish there was more forthat price. I ordered a diet coke to drink and was a bit let down to see them bring a small bottle out to my table. Inrestaurant languages, this means no free refills which means an automatic star off. Through my years of reviewing, I havegained 0 tolerance for no free refills on soda. Places; especially those that charge this much, need to offer free refills. Iam not in the mood to ration my soda throughout the meal, but nonetheless, there are some positives. My main course was thesaving grace as I ordered the sesame tuna. The tuna came out cooked exactly how I liked it. The tuna portion was small butquite delicious. I also got fries on the side which were pretty good. I was not crazy about the price of the fries as theywere 10 bucks which is the price of a burger and fries at some places. Great location valet not necessary we parked ourselves. Drinks were good had a dirty martini. Apps were ok had guacamole and... chips (small portion needs to def be bigger) I order chicken parm noodles a bit over cooked for my liking. 6 people bill came tojust over $600. The house salad with blue cheese was the star of this show! It was amazing the blue cheese was kind of warm andmelts in your mouth. Bathroom wasn?t the cleanest which isn?t great. Pretty good experience. Went for early dinner at 430pm on a Saturday. Nice staff, everyone was friendly . Food was pretty... good. Drinks were good and expensive. Not that strong but expected. Had the rib eye steak for 2 people and it was great. Thisplace was definitely worth going to. Read more

Nothing spectacular. We ordered the fresh mozzarella/beefsteak/tomato and it was average. The french onion soup was good , not... great. A house salad was included, but didn't care for the dressing served on it. We had the 12 oz filet and it lackedseasoning. The asparagus was bland. We will stick to our usual steakhouse. Read more
