We went for a late dinner after arriving in Fairbanks. This place is has equal numbers of vegetarian vs meat options. My friend... got the veggie thali, and I got lamb shahi with garlic naan. Everything was delicious. We finished the meal with hot chai whichwere spiced perfectly. The staff are very friendly and the interior of the restaurant is super colorful and very serene. The best Northern Indian food (we asked lol)! We will definitely be back again! We took all our left over home and ordered... additional naan bread to eat with our leftovers. Overall, good experience. It smelt like I was transported back to Delhi. The space was decorated nicely with vibrant colors and... art. The food was delicious. More importantly, the kindness showed by the owner/manager towards a local patron who entered therestaurant is what stood out most to me. An incoherent/drunken man loudly entered the front door and sat in the waiting area.Instead of immediately kicking this person out, he was brought a to-go bag of food and was politely ushered out of therestaurant. Although this person did attempt to reenter, the way they were treated was with dignity. I will be spending my moneyhere and enjoying this food again. Read more
