Highly recommend the sweetheart roll - and try it without dunking it in soy sauce at least for the first piece, it is so... delicious as-is. :) very few sushi places in AK offer unique raw rolls with scallops, which is a nice change from the tendencyto stuff spicy tuna into every single roll at most other restaurants. I wished they had chirachi (my usual go-to) but once Itried a couple of their special rolls I was glad I had to get rolls instead! Read more
The environment and atmosphere in this restaurant were both pretty good. The Kanpaj roll came with side salad and a shrimp... tempura, making it feel like a value combo. The lunch bento was also pretty good with delicious tempura and gyoza, but theteriyaki chicken was a bit dry. Overall, it?s a nice place to have lunch in Fairbanks. Read more

This place has ATMOSPHERE! There is literally a grand piano with a woman sitting at it playing beautiful melodic tunes that... gently fill the entire restaurant. Comfortable booths, world class service and an friendly, elegant vibe. I ordered thespecial basket and a salad. This place is an oasis of PRIVACY and harmony in Fairbanks. And the food was super filling andgood. I would order the special basket again, after I try more things. Read more
Great food. I had their bulgogi and it was delicious. However, they are a lot more expensive than expected. The service was... alright. They kept forgetting things we would ask for. Another nice thing was they had live music, a pianist, playing and thatwas enjoyable. Read more
