Went here after the lunch rush. We got plenty of stuff to try and it was all tasty but not wow knock your socks off type stuff.... I am a gyro aficionado and it passed the test of would I come back for it. Still not the best in the Dayton area, but worthtrying if you come here. The flavor of the meat was top notch and my only gripe was the black olives they put in it (didn't gowell with the rest of the gyro). We tried the regular gyro, the chicken and beef shawarma (good but a little dry, needed sauceof some sort), samosas (a little underwhelming), and the falafel sandwich (tasty as well). To drink, we tried their fruity popcalled vimto which was delicious! I wouldn't come for sit down service as they were slow but it's still worth coming and gettingsomething at the counter then sitting down for them to serve it to you or getting it to go. Read more
Yaffa Grill has the absolute best hummus and falafel I have ever had. The server told us they make the hummus from scratch every... day. The falafel is always perfect and hot when it comes out. Food is always top notch! Highly recommend. Read more

This place is amazing. Has great food and the best part is the culture of the food and eating you may never have had. People... I?ve seen have complained about the service, yes I do agree the service needs work but I?m pretty sure the family that owns thisrestaurant is new to the business or doesn?t have much experience with customer service. Simple and easy food to eat during travels.
Food was relatively good. The service, on the other hand, awful. I requested water for drik and I never received it. The... waitress walked by my table atleast 3 times and never bothered to stop to ask me if I needed anything else nor brought mewater. Luckily, I had some water in my car. Nice hidden gem of a spot. Walking distance from a number of hotels and office buildings. Very simple Mediterranean fare, get... yourself some shwarma and rice with some stuffed grape leaves dolma. Flavors are very robust and spice level is ideal for thosethat like a bit of heat. Get the Yaffa Chicken Shwarma! I haven't ordered everything on the menu yet, but I probably willeventually. Read more
