Brought the family out and the wait for the food was extremely long. That was not the worst part. The food was cold, but that... wasn't the worst part. The biscuits were half cooked, but that wasn't the worst part. The worst was I ordered Beignets whichwere actually good until I pulled one out the basket that was bitten into! ???? The food at this Fairburn, Georgia Cracker Barrel was horrifically terrible. The food was not hot when it came out and burnt. We... ordered French toast that was too dark and tasted like grill grease. I ordered eggs and it tasted like grill grease. The bacon,sausage and ham were all burnt and looked like it had been reheated by deep frying. I thought the manager would want to see howbad his employee was cooking for paying customers only to find out that he himself was on the line cooking. The manager nevercame to our table as requested. The server was very nice but they need to be trained on not delivering food that?s not up topar. It?s not the servers fault so we tipped her nicely and left the way we arrived. HUNGRY!!! Read more
We always enjoy getting to come have a meal at this location, the server was really kind and helpful. I wasn't 100% sure about... the pancakes, but they're now probably my favorite breakfast dish, the cheesecake and fruit made such a delicious combination. Ialways forget to ask for my toast grilled instead of the basic toasting, but it was still yummy. I do wish the cooks were alittle better about timing their steaks to the right temp, they have a habit of over cooking them, but hopefully that canimprove. I know its not a steakhouse, but its wasteful to have to recook steaks. I still enjoy coming for many of the otherdishes though, thats why I got to try out the cheesecake pancakes, I hope they stay on the menu a long time. Read more
Was promptly seated but then waited over an hour and a half for our food. No cooks, manger was in the back cooking. Wish they... would have informed us prior to ordering. I ordered turkey sausage with my meal online only to find out once I picked up the order that it was discontinued. I called the... store to ask if they refunded me for the turkey sausage, but I was placed on hold and no one ever returned to the phone. Itraveled all the way back to the restaurant to get resolution and the manager refused to come speak to me. I ended up leavingthe food on the counter and requested a full refund. I understand that this issue may not be the employees fault that the menuonline wasn't updated, but for a manager to refuse to speak to me or resolve the issue is poor customer service! Read more
Very busy Saturday afternoon, time about 1:45pm and had an hour wait for a table. I would say there were a lot of people. Server... was nice but not very attentive. Maybe because of so many people they were busy but didn't come back once to ask if we neededanything......not once and we waited for our food for about another 45mins. The food came out very good. The food was hot andeverything was fresh and cooked pretty much perfect. We had the catfish fried nice and golden brown. The pancakes were cookedwell and the biscuits were amazing....... Do NOT eat at this Cracker Barrel! It has been the worst experience any of us expericened here. We were seated promptly which... surprised us. However, we had to wait 20 minutes after we ordered for our drinks to come out. It took over an hour for ouractual food to come out. However, when the food did come out it was absolutely horrible. The pancakes were very doughy on theinside and had specks of griddle grease all over the top making the grease all you can taste. I ordered the strawberry pancakesand it came with no syrup. It was supposed to have whipped cream and strawberries on the pancakes. No whipped cream and somestiff, warm strawberries on the side. I wasn't even able to finish one of the pancakes. My sister ordered the country friedsteak and the gravy and meat were very cold. My fathers eggs came out nearly raw and incredibly runny. He ordered old timerscountry breakfast which is supposed to come with biscuits and gravy. It did not come with any biscuits and gravy. He had to askour waitress for it to be brought out. She passed our table four times until we reminded her she never brought it out. When shedid bring it out, it was a bowl of gravy and no biscuits. Even worse, it was the wrong type of gravy. He did not get half ofwhat he paid for. The grits he and my sister got were extremely cold and too watery to even eat and grits is one of theirfavorite things to eat. My mother ordered bacon and egg hashbrown cassorale, she asked for the eggs to be scrambled, hard eggsbut instead she got overeasy medium eggs instead. It was not even a casserole. There was no tomatoes or green onions in itmaking it just hashbrowns with an egg and bacon. It was lukewarm and none of the cheese was melted on it. We saw the waitress goaround and pick up the tips from tables but not clean them off. The restaurant wasn't even full.
