I had the BLT grilled cheese and it was AMAZING! The staff is always friendly and the restaurant is clean. If they're busy, they... hurry to clean off the tables and get you seated as quickly as possible. Read more

Excellent service. The building tells the story of all the owners. It?s a Midwest must do. The sandwich and soup were truly... delicious and tasted of homemade love. Stop by pop in for a spell or grab it to go. You will not be disappointed. Read more

A really quaint place with great food for an affordable price. Small touches really make the food better, like homemade lemonade... and using fresh (not canned) pineapple. The selection of glass bottle sodas is fun, too. And of course you have to try a dessertfrom the connected bakery. I also have to mention that they did an amazing job using the history of the building in thearchitecture and decor of the place. It's fun to see a kitchen prep room that used to be a bank vault. The ambiance, decor, waitstaff and food is amazing. Both breakfast and lunch were yummy and spot on. Very reasonable, good... portions, and home cooking. And then you add in the bakery items and desserts, not enough words to describe how good they were. We will be back again and again...... So well worth the 92 miles round trip. Read more
