The best service I have ever experienced. Always attentive, pleasant, friendly, helpful with menu and wine selections. The... atmosphere is very quaint and welcoming. You can sit in the middle of the cafe in the mix of it all, at the window watching thethe town of Fairfax as you sip a glass of wine and nibble from a cheese plate, or outside in their adorable "patio" seating. I've been going to Amelie wine bar in SF for years and even checked out their West Village location in NYC once! Regardless of... location, the service at Amelie is always excellent and the staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly. I was thrilled tohear that Germain opened this place in Fairfax. The vibe is super chill and the outdoor seating is relaxing. The food is superdelicious, which doesn't surprise me because the chef at his former restaurant Michel is now here. I've loved everything I'veordered from the menu so far, especially the Amelie Burger and the Salt Springs Mussels. The burger is super juicy and theroasted potatoes with aioli is a perfect pairing. The mussels are so plump, well-seasoned, and full of flavor! And of course,the wine selection is always excellent. Keep up the great work, Amelie. I look forward to my next visit! xx Bisous! I went to Amelie fairfax for the first time last Saturday to have breaksfast, pastries are amazing, we got croissant, pain au... chocolat (chocolate croissant) and pain au raisin- it was delicious and as good as I the best bakeries in France! I cannot waitto go back there and try lunch menu, everything looks so good (will try the burger for sure. Plus, atmosphere is just perfectwith a beautiful outdoor space.
