Brunch was not what I expected but the a la cart menu was very good! Tucked into a shopping plaza, Blue Iguana treats locals to... good food! They are famous for their botanas, so that's what I had. Very, very rich and creamy, I had it over grits instead ofrice. Still very good! The tres leches cake listed on the menu was no longer a part of it, sadly. The staff was attentive andvery nice. Purely in terms of food I enjoyed it and there was a wide variety of cuisines to chose from. It was a little pricey for the... quality and quantity. But, if considering it's also bar I would suggest it's food. Read more
We cannot wait to get back there! The bartender who took care of us, she was amazing! Especially making both of our kids so... comfortable and gave them such memorable time. I will get her name and add to this review but I am sure she wouldn't workanywhere if it wasn't up to her standards. So the food is amazing and their culture is very warm and accommodating. I used to come here all the time, over 20 years ago. I recently decided to pay another visit to see if and how it has changed.... There is outdoor seating now. The menu is slightly different but very good. Good selection of drinks fro the bar. The ahi Tunatacos were excellent and I love a good tater tot. First, the loaded baked potato balls are amazing. They're like cheese hush puppies. The rest of the food here was pretty good... too. I got the steak tacos and loaded fries. The tacos were really good and loaded with sauce and meat. They were even doublewrapped so they could hold all the moisture. My fiancé got the gyro and that was good. The lamb had a lot of flavor. Absolutely horrible and childish quality. Waiter was great and polite, but the food is absolutely thawed out the morning of, and... is a complete joke. If you're already drunk go here...you won't care. If you're interested in a great meal...talk to SergeantNOPE. You can get better quality at 7-11.
