BWF Has been remodeled since the last time I had been there. The menu and theme has also changed. The hamburger was ok/good... but not great. The boneless wings were excellent. They were made up of chunks of breast meat, not fabricated chicken chunks. The meat was moist and the breading was delicious. I loved their 911 sauce that has a tangy taste with a little heat. I wentat lunch and they were understaffed. There was only one waitress serving the entire restaurant. This made for a very slow andfrustrating experience. If this review was helpful to you please give it a thumbs up. Read more

Matt the bartender and Eric the server are fantastic. Always provide great service and the wings are the BOMB! My parents are... frequent goers of BWF; it?s become their comfort restaurant. Thanks for making them (us) feel that way! Read more

Been a favorite since the original take out joint in Sterling in the early '90s. The BEST wings in NOVA and dare I say all up... the east coast. The only place that doesn't serve soggy wings. Nothing worse than having that soft skin snap back on the wing. The craft beer expansion just takes an already A+ place up another notch. Keep doing what you're doing! UPDATE (August 2022, 4years after initial post - the picture is from 2018): Another victim of COVID I'm afraid. After the dust settled we startedgoing back to BWF and the same quality we enjoyed for decades was gone. The wings are just like every other place (i.e. BWW)meaning gigantic wings (I realize some people like) that come out with soggy skin even after you ask for them to be welldone/extra crispy. This never used to be the case. The added fact that it costs $16 for 10 wings is insane. It appears thatwith a recent remodel the focus is on other menu items and hard liquor. Half of the restaurant is now a bar and despite that, the craft beer selection is significantly less than pre-COVID days. Used to come here at least once a month but I don't seemyself coming back again unless the wing quality improves and/or if the price goes down. Read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would... I really don't like giving bad reviews but seriously save your money and just go... to Buffalo Wild Wings if you want your wing fix. Their wings are flavorless, cold AND dry. How does this place offer 20different sauces and all of them are made with absolutely NO flavor and heat?? I also ordered a brownie sundae and I basicallypaid $13 for a brownie-smelling rock and some creamy ice that was supposed to be the vanilla ice cream. The brownie literallywas STUCK to the takeout container and the "vanilla" ice cream was the worst ice cream I've ever tasted (even Breyer's vanillaice cream you could taste the vanilla bean!) I do not recommend this place. It's a shame that my money and time wast wasted. Read more

Good ingredients, bad sauces. We got both the "very hot" sauces and both were less spicy than original tabasco sauce. The... suicide ranch had little flavor while the jerk sauce was just ok (and again with zero heat at all). Also had the spicy garlicbutter and spicy crab sauces on another order. The spicy crab rub was overly salty. The spicy garlic butter wings just tastedlike straight fried wings without garlic and without butter. We spent the extra to get two cups of different sauce aftergetting our order...got the 911 and torrid buffalo sauces. These saved the meal from one star rating. These are again meant asthe hottest sauces they have to offer but only rivaled tabasco spice. They were flavorful though so we put them on everything weordered. The two sauces were nearly indistinguishable so don't waste money getting both. Curly fries were good but nothingamazing. Service was a touch slow but otherwise fine. Chicken was fresh and moist. Celery was very fresh. Ranch was goodquality. So very unfortunate to report that the sauces were so underwhelming and misleadingly labeled. Sauce is 90% of a wing ifyou ask me. Expected a lot more from a craft wing house. Read more

Hate leaving bad reviews but you really had to have messed something up in order for me to do so? ordered total of 30 wings... specified ?wet? per their own website format and all of my wings came out this way; had just picked up and brought home to findthem like this most had no sauce whatsoever needless to say it was a waste of money they were thrown away the family ate hotpockets instead. For wings like this I could?ve simply grabbed a bag of frozen wings from the giant next door to them and thrownin air fryer. Read more
