Two hours waiting for our order on Sunday, all other tables waited this long too.\n\nFew things were good but didn\'t enjoy and... hated most of the items because either prepared quickly or badly.\n\nThe one star is for the good staff. Hope things aretemporarily like this, but don\'t want to come back soon at all.\n\nBTW, they charge 3.5% credit card surcharge. Read more

It\'s hard to find good authentic Iraqi cuisine in DC area but this place is at the top of the list. The Kabob is good. Grills... are generally good. Grilled chicken is great and one of my favorite choices here. Read more

The most delicious ground beef kabob I have ever tasted! This is my favorite but all other dishes are out of this world: chicken... kabob, lamb Kabob, mixed Shawarma, the eggplant salad, etc. The price is so worth it because they give you plenty of food toeat. I will certainly become a loyal customer whenever I am in the area. Thank you. Read more

The new restaurant’s owner is great. I’ve been going there twice now and the quality of food is worth every penny. I... definitely will be back for the fresh Iraqi bread and samoon taste so authentic. The main dish is a lot of food for one person, specifically, the teshreeb shawarma. Overall, give it a try if you’re craving a Middle Eastern food. Read more

The service is great, the falafel sandwich and kebab sandwich is amazing. Honestly an authentic middle eastern taste in Fairfax.... I love it. Prices are very good giving the inflation that we are seeing these days. A very generous and best hospitality!100000% I recommend this place Read more

I generally do not write reviews, but this was an accidental find. The hoardings still say, \"Ishtar Hookah/Kabob\" and Google... says that\'s permanently closed.\nPros: Huge quantities of food for much cheap price, lots of side dishes to accompany themother dish, authentic taste, melt-in-mouth-soft lamb, friendly staff\nCons: Not-so-transparent billing system forcing you topay 10% for state taxes before tipping, you have to pay for everything including water, rice is a bit on the oilierside\nOverall, everything is so cheap here you do not mind the few extra bucks for the quality food.
