Had a delicious meal outside in the nice autumn air with their open aired bar seated area. Service was minimal, only one person... for the whole bar area. Overall it was good! And it supports a good cause. Read more

Excellent selection of beers and sandwiches. Surrounded by plenty of parking, makes this a convenient location for lunch. The... metro is close by if you like to have a few beers. Read more

Do you like Pizza? Sandwiches? Salads? Pasta? They have a huge variety. Indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant sits... on a quiet corner but is worth the hunt. You won't be disappointed. Read more

Honestly, I really like the place, environment and the food. I had the Pit Bull Pie and several drinks with my friend and it was... pretty good. The reason for the 2 stars: My friend and I sat at the bar at around 5pm and there were like 3 teams. Not a lot ofpeople. The lady at the bar really was the problem? She was half listening to the orders and we had to call her several times toredo our orders. The worst part is that we literally waited 30 minutes to get our checks processed. Then a guy came to processit for her and then he drops one of the credit cards? And then the lady comes and she doesn?t even apologize. I mean like thereweren?t a lot of customers? My friend and I were really annoyed. Both of us love this place but really it would be much betterif the waiters took things more seriously? Read more

Dog collars (BAKED onion rings) got missed in the recent menu printing but know they are still there. My favorite sandwich is... the Big Dog (they had me at 2 cheeses and garlic mayo). I am told they roast their own meats and it certainly tastes like thereal deal! I also liked that I could try a 5 oz. of a hard cider. Yum! This location was new to us and it didn't disappoint.Free garage parking conveniently located nearby. Read more

The sandwiches are the stars here. There are plenty of good optiona. The food is great, the beer is selection is great. My... favorite is the bulldog. The sandwiches are huge. This area you never know if you will get your money's worth when eating out,but here you definitely will. The pizza is good too but I will always get a sandwich. The beer selection is great and you canbuy six packs out of the cooler. The service was fast and efficient and very polite. Parking is easy if you go to the nearbygarage. There are multiple Lost Dog locations but this one has been high quality on each visit Read more

? When I see the word ?gourmet? used in marketing/advertising descriptions of pizza I expect a flavor jamboree which was not the... case for the pepperoni and mushroom pizza I was served at Lost Dog Cafe. Old Dominion Pizza in Arlington is my taste benchmarkstandard for excellent pizza in NOVA in my taste opinion. LDC pizza dough was totally bland and uninteresting compared to ODP?sflavorful corn meal dough. LDC toppings also lacked strong flavor profile by comparison. Using the word ?gourmet? indicates tome farm fresh, locally sourced ingredients. I would be stunned if LDC verified that. LDC beer selection is commendable. Iappreciate that LDC has bottle Pilsner Urquell which is reason enough to come back. Would be a nice touch if they had Pilsnerglasses. Carrot Cake icing was a bit cloying but saved by distinctly flavorful fresh black walnuts and fresh raisins in thecake. My guess as to $7.95 (let?s call it 8 bucks) a slice price. Coffee was pretty good with it. The staff was friendly, welcoming, helpful and attentive. Could not ask for better in that department. I like the light color wood square bar designhaving 5 bar stools with backs on 3 sides of the square. The cafe is exceptionally clean. Their pizza box should win a designaward for its solid construction and the Lost Dog logo that covers the box top and includes QR code. I hope they find theirdog. Pizza = 1 star Carrot Cake = 3 1/2 stars The rest of the package = 5 stars Pizza really drags down the overall to 3stars. I am compelled to give heavy weight to the pizza component because of the loud marketing/advertising that it is ?gourmet?which, in my opinion, it is not. Read more

Pizza was great! As it always is. Good beers on tap. Me and my wife stopped in on a hot and humid Monday night to grab a beer... and pizza. We decided to try out their sandwiches. My wife ordered a chicken wrap and I had the Italian. Sub had good flavor butthere was little to no meat. For a sub to be 10 dollars I was expecting more, not a subway sub! I've been going to the originalLost Dog for years and the subs at the Arlington location are much better. Maybe I caught them on a bad night, but they have tomake better sandwiches than what I received. Staff was very friendly and greeted us as soon as we walked in. We will beback......just not for the sandwiches. Read more
