The food and service are like the star rating: mid. Predictable, overly-salted/fried food and slow service. It’s a good place... if you don’t want to wait in busy Mosaic and you just want a quick meal - it also accommodates large parties well. The wait staff was wonderful. BUT. I haven't been here since before the pandemic. My bf wanted pizza so I was excited to come to... the Mosaic District and get the honey glazed prosciutto and arugula pizza. Unfortunately, they changed the recipe and it now hassome kind of white cheese on it, and instead of prosciutto, the meat had the consistency of bacon. Either that or it was wayovercooked. Not at all what I was expecting. It was terrible to be honest. The replacement veggie pizza was just as bad,slathered in pesto and zero flavor. And my bf pizza had a million pepperonis on it, but it was half burnt. All in all, for $60(including a $14 key lime cocktail) it was not enjoyable. As I recall, this was a pizza place. Quick meal due to my misreading of an event schedule. Daughter loved the pizza. Waitstaff excellent: they had dropped a slice... while preparing it on a plate so they provided me with another pizza. Staff quickly boxed my meal just so we can make it to anevent next time. Read more
Wait staff is awesome attentive and polite. The atmosphere is good and the music is always good. The food has a serenade with... your taste buds. I had the ginormous meatball(beef, veal, pork, pepperoni sauce)w/a beautiful piece of bread. It was the perfect???????? selection for lunch. This meal , that matchbox has listed as a starter; was so fulfilling and delectable. I ordered(togo) the mambo chicken pizza. I’ll be back for more on the menu. Until next time matchbox!! Read more
It’s was my first time eating here and it was a tasty lunch. My friend likes this place so my other friend and I went here for... brunch/lunch. Friendly staff and a clean bathroom minus the paper towel on the bathroom floor. The food - I believe everyoneenjoyed their meals with no issues. I got an apple salad with shrimp and I loved the decent sized shrimp that came with my meal.My friend is apart of the matchbox rewards program which allowed her to build up her points with today’s lunch/brunch. I guessif you frequent this restaurant enough, why not sign up and get rewarded for the meals/drinks purchased. Overall, I wouldrecommend this place to eat a meal. Read more
I'm not used to having poor quality service at this location. Let alone any store from this chain. My visit this occasion was... for a birthday. Our waitress seemed confused and often struggled to remember items. We decided to give her multiple chancesbeing that it's a pandemic and food services are strained. Nonetheless, simple things like drinks and questions about basicthings on the menu just caused such a challenge. My guest all ordered selections between pizza or seafood entrees. My suggestionto those of you reading my review. Wait until the summer, those are my fondest and best experiences with this chain location. Read more
Me and my husband go here regularly since it's his favorite restaurant. The food is always excellent. I've had several of their... pizzas as well as their pasta dishes. The food is always well seasoned and very flavorful. My favorite dish is the Fire n Smokepizza. It is nice and zesty but not too spicy. I definitely recommend that pizza if you like some mild spiciness to your food.Also they offer the option of a gluten free crust made of cauliflower. It is very good and tastes very similar to the normalcrust. I've had both. The service is usually excellent. The servers are attentive and happy to answer questions about the menu.The food is prepared in a reasonable amount of time. I personally don't really like the atmosphere because it's rather loud.They either have a sports broadcast on or music that is on the loud side. It's hard if you have a larger group to be able tohear everyone. We met up with a book club there once and that was a bad idea because of the noise level. The service personneldid try to accommodate our needs by reducing the music but the acoustics of that building still made it hard to hear everyone.But when I'm just there with my husband it is okay. There is usually a good number of people at this restaurant no matter whattime we go, but it is quite large and I think we only had to wait to be seated once. The closest parking is a parking garage acouple blocks from the restaurant. Read more
