This unassuming place from the outside is a wonder oasis of friendly sevice, great food and relaxing interior design. Started... with the Meat Mantu. Soft, creamy and not too heavy. Two people can share without getting full. Wife had the Kubideh. How dothey get the meat this tender??? Great flavor. This is a must get. I wanted to try something different than their wonderfulkebabs so i had the Boneless Chicken Karachi. Meat was tender. I asked for spicy and the heat level was medium. Still greatflavor. Eating this dish is like getting a warm hug; it's so comforting. Speaking of comfortable, the water feature PLUS thevast amount of pillows makes this a place that's very peaceful to dine. It was such a great ambience, colorful pillow, water fountain and above and beyond Aida, the owner was such a welcoming host. We... ordered botanical and meat mantu, followed by bath kabob and chicken kebab were very tasty. Of course, finished our adventurewith Turkish coffee and got special treat from Aida. Hidden gem with beautiful decor and absolutely delicious food. We had lamb kabobs, hummus, lamb shank and saffron ice-cream. The... ice-cream is made in house and was a delicious new flavor that I've never had before. Great service too, loved this place. Read more
Really nice Afghani/Persian food. Everything is super clean and smell great. The owner is so awesome and went above and beyond... to serve every table. She really likes her restaurant and loves taking care of people. Highly recommend going there. Read more
Wonderful food, wonderful atmosphere, wonderful experience! What a welcoming and inviting place, soft benches filled with... pillows line one wall, families celebrating and having a wonderful time together fill the room with laughter and live. Ida,owner, hostess and chef, is so kind and helpful but the food is the best part! I had the hummus appetizer and Eggplant stew -both were delicious and full of flavor -- I'll be back... tomorrow!!! Tomorrow - I asked Ida to make dinner for me (I.e. Ididn't look at menu, she decided for me) and she didn't disappoint! The Veggie Mantu Appetizer was wonderful as was the maindish Veggie Delight - three vegetable dishes served with rice. I hate to play favorites, all the veggies (butternut squash,spinach, and eggplant) were wonderful but I love, love, loved the sauteed spinach (Subzi)! Can't wait to come back next time I'min town. We enjoyed our experience at Mazadar. The food was delicious, the service was great and the menu is reasonably priced. What... impressed me the most is how clean the restaurant was, and the beautiful tableware.
