I have always been a customer for this restaurant but today I was having a family dinner and my 4 year old daughter dropped her... plate with a few kebab and some rice in it. While check out the lady tells me that my boss saw this on camera so I have tocharge you $8.99 extra, I said what is the charge for ? She said you wasted food. I said well what do you expect us do? Was shesuppose to eat the food from the floor. This act was very cheap and they lost family customer. Pretty good buffet.. Salad isn't perfect but there is couple of options.. Their beef kabob is decent,, chicken is actually... pretty good. There isn't any seafood options. They have good sweets ( Mahalabya and cream caramel) There isn't any fruits. Thedining area is not luxorious but it's decent. Would recommend the restaurant. Read more
Amazing quality food at a good price. All tasty dishes and amazing Kabob. You most definitely get your money's worth. Remember... this is not fast food or junk food. These are dishes that take work and effort to prepare and some are costly to prepare. Withjust one plate you get your money's worth. This was my first time in Virginia and first time at this restaurant. I was veryimpressed with the quality of the food. Very friendly service too. A friend took me to the restaurant this weekend. He did not tell me where are we going. Knowing that I'm very picky, I was... hoping the place must b good. It was amazing. For $11.50, you have all kinds of salad, several kind of rice ( try Iranian rice,kind of green color), lamb shanks, kabobs, soups, chicken curry and kabons. Must try the rice dessert. The buffet menue was bigenough that everyone will be able to find their favorite. The lady behind the desk was extremely rude and unethical. Somehow I convinced my husband to go eat in this restaurant despite... the negative reviews but we were not welcomed as it should?ve been and we were given only limited plates to serve with I meancome on this is not school cafeteria we pay for the service. We did not even eat here and left the place. If you don?t want toruin your precious time please look for some other places. Shish Kabob express is very cheap and rude staff. Read more
