This review is for the one on Maryland Ave DC and Fairfax. We had the same experience at BOTH! One person making the drinks... while the other two people chit-chatted and talked to the person making the drinks ????. Maryland Ave: We come in the door,they chat chat chat and THEN take our order ????. There are people waiting already. One young man making the drinks the other2 young man laughing..chatting and standing around doing nothing..the person making the drinks chit chattin as well. There wasan older gentleman there, i have no idea what he was doing..he had his back turned most of the time. It was painful to watch andwait. Customers are looking around wondering is anyone gonna help. FAIRFAX: same EXACT thing. We come in the door..peopleare waiting, the two young ladies behind the counter continue to talk, then one young lady decide to straight up what was besideher THEN say can i help you ????. Took our order and the chit chatting and NOT helping to make the drinks BEGIN! The young manmaking the drinks actual STOPPED, TURNED started chatting and laughing with the two young ladies. One young lady was standingaround and the other started filling the coffee maker...WHY WHY...help the young man make the drinks...there are people waitingalong with us!. There was this one customer waiting and guess what she was THERE BEFORE us..3 out of 4 of our drinks finallycame and her drink came, guess what it was...He said and i quote; here is your ice water! ICE WATER people...ICE WATER...wegot there after her!!! Why didnt one of the two young ladies standing around do it! Two different STARBUCKS in two differentlocations. STARBUCKS behaving badly. i know you are much much better than this....ONE STAR for 2 workers barely working and 1worker working slow and doing this in front of the customers with no shame and with the appearance and attitude of "i dontcare". Very peaceful place to sit and relax The only problem there is the toilet upstairs

Though Starbucks tends to have great service everywhere, just wanted to shout out to my local location. The guys here are... knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and accommodating. A unique Starbucks with a 2nd floor. The first floor is small, with little space to seat. This Starbucks is nice and clean and... the baristas are friendly. Truly live up to their acceptable of diversity which was displayed all over the place. I felt a bitoverwhelmed because it looked like they went out of the way to advertise their support of diversity. I truly believe thatdiversity acceptance is more meaningful when exhibited in actions, not just words. After all, words are cheap. I'm very pleasedwith the friendly service, which means so much more to me than the signs posted throughout the store. Everyone deserved to betreated well regardless of how they look, what they do...
