I?m giving them 5 stars because of how hospitable the elderly gentleman was when taking my order as well as brining my order. ... The online menu includes a mixed grill platter which includes one skewer of each of their kabobs (beef + lamb mix, chicken andlamb). This does not exist on the regular menu in the store and so the gentleman created it for me when I was in store. I likehow the culture really shone through as I grew up around Iraqis and they do have some very (unconventional) warm manners if youcan see through the rough and tough exterior. Give this place a try and be surprised by the affordable prices! The falafel wasexcellent and the lamb and chicken were so very tender. I would like to see more flavor in the future for their lamb + beefkabob mix. Read more

We came here on a Sunday night 2 hours before closing. Ordered family combo #1 just cus you get to try a little bit of... everything. Service was good and people working there were nice. I absolutely loved their falafel, It?s the best I have so farin a long time. They were fresh and flavorful. My second favorite would be seasoned chicken Kebob and maybe chicken shawarma. However the meat was on a dry side and tasted like it?s been sitting in the oven for a while. Probably because it?s Sunday andthey are not busy and left cooked food for a while for any last minute orders I don?t know. Whatever the case is I wish theywould have taken extra 10 mins to make sure they serve fresh. The beef shawerma wasn?t juicy/ tender or flavorful, it was toodry and felt like we were chewing on a rock. If I come here again it would just be for falafel and maybe chicken shawarma butthat?s about it. Read more

I ordered from here for the first (and only) time today. I got the mixed kabob which comes with 2 skewers of ground lamb/beef... and 1 skewer of chicken. As you can see in the picture, the lamb/beef kabob was totally raw in the middle. Since this is aground meat mixture it needs to be totally cooked all the way through in order to be safe. I could not eat this meal. I checkedthe chicken and it appeared to be cooked through, but the white onion that came as part of the dish was also pretty much raw. Ithad clearly been thrown on a hot flame just long enough to get charred but it was by no means at all cooked. Also worth notingthat this came with two pieces of bread, one whole piece that was wrapped separate and one torn quarter piece under the food. The taste and texture of the piece under the meat was very stale and quite different from the other bread, which I assume wasmade fresh for this order. Lesson learned, will not eat from here again. Read more

The pandemic has kept us from traveling to the Middle East (where we usually get the best shawarma), but Taza Falafel came to... our rescue with food that rivals the best we've had anywhere. Their shawarma is super tasty, and the Iraqi-style kabobs areamazing. The falafel is light and airy and the flavors keep us going back for more. I highly recommend this place! Read more

Good Iraqi Kabab and Shawarma. Their Iraqi bread "Samoon" is good as well. I am not a big fan of Falafel so I can't give my... opinion here. I noticed a couple of bad reviews made by some people, I would say this place is specialized in Iraqi style Kabab, Shawarma and Falafel. If you are not familiar with that style then don't build your expectations on different styles of food.It is irrelevant comparison. I would say they do make good food but they need to work on the speed of the orders, itemsavailability, and taste consistency. The owner is a friendly guy! Read more
