Falafel was AWFUL!! Worst ive ever had. Very hard and dry. No flavor at all and very small. AND the gyro beef was cold.
very disappointed with my order of falafel. The falafel was old and just got refried. Had no flavor to it. Drastically different... than the one I had from the Halal Guys on Duke Street in Alexandria. I also ordered their mint lemonade. There is no mint tastein it. It tastes like some cool aid artificial flavor drink. I?m not going back to this location and will stick to the DukeStreet location for sure. Read more
Do NOT go to this location. Halal Guys as a chain is great. Every location I?ve ever been to has had amazing food for the... price. Why is it that when we show up here at lunch time, the food looks like it was made yesterday? You?ve been open for likean hour and a half, tops. Read more
When the heck did olives and jalepenos stop being free? Got home and realized I had a platter with green peppers and onions and... thats it. Was very disappointed. Not sure if that's just this location, new policy, or what. But I swear my usual one doesn'tcharge for those. But it also wasn't super fresh. They had like no one in there but me practically. All the stuff was coveredand they had to uncover the bins like they hadn't been serving many people recently. I went in at like 8pm. Overall worst halalguys experience I've had and it corresponded with my first time at this location. So take it as you will, but I'm going to otherHalal guys locations from now on. Read more
I'd give them at least 3.5 stars is I could. I needed a quick lunch, and wanted something different. I'd heard of them, and was... excited to try them. I was pleased. Everything is very fresh, looks appealing before and after preparation, and portions arelarger than expected. I'm 6'4, 195#. I have a rather fast metabolism, and need my calories regularly throughout the day. On myfirst visit, I ordered the large combo plate. I couldn't finish it. I had about 1/4 of it left, maybe a little more. It made fora great snack the next day. I now get the small plate, and it fills me well. A good place with fresh, healthy good, servedquickly. I can?t believe my eyes. See picture below that?s the quantity I received from the lovely people serving the food. On top of... that it was cold meat. I don?t think the owner is aware of how these employees are ripping people off. Or is it the owners whoare instructing the employee to serve 1/4 of the food then what you are truly supposed to get. $9 is what they charged for thisportion. Time and date is stamped on the receipt. Hopefully the manager or owner takes responsibility and rectify the issue. Isit too hard to serve a decent portion of food? Halal guys started from one street cart in NY and now they opened so manybranches because we supported them to be able to reach there. But clearly they are not taking care of the customer. Never eat Falafel on this restaurant. They put mayonnaise (white sauce) with Falafel. And ues Nana bread for wrapping. No... pickels. Read more
