This restaurant gets a 3 star because the staff members were great. The food is what brings it down. The chicken parmigiana had... the texture and taste of a frozen patty. The crust was soggy with sauce. The sauce could have been canned as well - who knows. For $25 I was dissapointed. The salad seemed like bagged lettuce - not fresh. I might be wrong on some of this, but ultimatelythe meal was not worth it. The staff members were attentive and friendly. Read more

This is just a really cool spot. I followed the owners when they had a different place in American canyon. In both spots, you... can get a huge slice of pizza for cheap. I picked up a cheese slice which is about the size of a small pizza at round table, andit was only $5. They also have a special every night, which is an all-you-can-eat special. One night will be lasagna anothernight will be spaghetti, etc. And it's fairly cheap too I think it's like $12 a person. Their sandwiches are massive. Andtheir salads are really good especially their antipasto salad. Inside seems a little cramped, but they have a overflow sideroom where there's more space and the chairs are bigger, they also have outdoor seating. Basically we have a little bit of NewYork here in Fairfield now. Definitely worth checking out. Read more

I've been going to this place for a while now. I'd even drive up from Sunnyvale just to enjoy the food here before finally... moving to Suisun. However, every single place has a good spot and a bad spot. Good: If you're getting food to go home, grabbing one of their giant pizzas and taking it with you, great! This is the best experience you can have. The food isincredible and great value for the cost. The pizza goes a LONG way and there's always leftovers. Not so good: If you eat in,get the pizza. Get something that's easy to make and requires minimal staff interactions. What I'm getting at is do NOT go tothis place for the specials they have Sunday through Wednesday. It's all you can eat, but you get forgotten very quickly afteryour first round. This is my advice after my household has gone out for their special 6 times and had this level of service 4of those 6 times. So, go for the pizza or the single dish -- it's a good deal. Skip the specials -- not worth it becausethey're not prepared for this level of service. Read more

Evelyn's Big Italian is a great spot to eat. Their pizza is amazing. That crust! One slice fills a plate.. Mmm mmm mmm. On other... occasions I've had their eggplant parmesan. It wasn't the best I've had, but it was very good. Their chicken fettuccine willfeed an army. You can't go wrong here. Definitely give it a shot. Read more

The slice of pizza looked good but had no flavor. The Bruschetta wasn't worth the price and the bread was hard when it came... out. I will give this place another try just to make sure they weren't having a bad day. I came back on 8/2/21 and ordered theAYCE SPAGHETTI and it was AWESOME. ALISA MY WAITRESS WAS WONDERFUL !!! We happened upon Evelyn's by accident as we were out a little later than usual and still needed to get dinner. We were pleased... to find that they were open until 10pm and reviewed well. The wait staff was friendly and patient while we spent a little extratime reviewing their rather large menu. There were a lot of great options and the woman at the counter was able to make somerecommendations. We sat in the front patio area. While we waited, we enjoyed the complimentary fresh bread and amazinglydelicious vinegar/herbs emulsion. If you love balsamic vinegar, this is truly scrumptious concoction! When our main dishesarrived, we very pleased with the ample portions and great value for the amount of money we spent. Plus, our kiddo actually atesome of every dish we ordered:) Read more
