The food is great, but I made reservations for a birthday a few days in advance for the hibachi table. When we arrived, they... told me they were short staffed and could not seat us. Had my Granddaughters 17th birthday dinner here, and it was wonderful. The chef at the Hibachi table was great, so much fun and... delicious food. Dinner is a little pricey, but the service and food made it well worth it. Had lunches here for years as I usedto work close to this place, and the lunch prices are reasonable. A+ experience!!! Slow service and there were many empty tables, the hostess was arguing with someone on the phone and just kept motioning to us... to wait, she left at one point and came back still heated with person on the phone trying to place an order. Get seated rightaway because it was empty...waiter took a while to appear, brought back drinks, took our order and then took another looongggwhile to bring food BUT my husband did enjoy his steak. Went to celebrate my nephews 14th birthday. I Waited forever at the bar to get a drink because I got there early for happy... hour. Then forever at the table to get service. They were not that busy! The food and the chef when he finally showed up wasawesome. Reservation for 6pm. No food until 645. They advertise free bday dinner. But you better have an ID! 14 year Olds don'thave ID yet. We sat at the sushi bar for lunch. It was excellent, fresh and flavorful. We started with the edamame, seaweed salad, and miso... soup. The hamachi (yellow-tail) was fresh, buttery, and sweet. My lunch partner loves Spicy Hotate (scallop) and it too didn'tdisappoint. We ordered the Sumo Roll which is compromised of inside - shrimp tempura, cucumber, and crab; then the roll istopped with unagi (grilled eel) & avocado. We were very happy, satisfied diners. We also had the fresh wasabi which is aspecial treat, totally different texture and experience from the dry, reconstituted wasabi normally served. Hinata also has asteakhouse robata that has the chef preforming while cooking while the patrons are seated around the cook top. The sushi is very delicious. My only hang-up was that they are on Doordash but don't have their Doordash system set up... So we... had to go to the restaurant and wait for them to make our order. Why are they available on Doordash to make orders if theyaren't equipped to take them? Read more

Lunch special was great! Can choose 4 types of small sushi roll/nigiri/hand roll from selection for only $14, totally worth... it! Love the deep fried rolls, they're crispy and warm when arrived. There's no excessive sauce on the rolls, which I preferthis way. Service was friendly, price and quality were reasonable, definitely will come back! Read more
