I recommend going early or mid day! Don?t go late like I did the second time. Went there before they closed and this place... wasn?t the same unfortunately? New to this area, I?ve been to this place twice, the seafood plate and shrimp tacos was fire- Iwent hr after it opened on a Sunday. Then I went again few weeks later, It was about 45 mins before they closed and let me tellyou, 40 seafood the plate was skimpy and just not the same as the first time we went, my wife?s pineapple drink tasted likewater and pineapple pulp. The young lady working the counter coulda have been a little nicer, maybe it was to close to quittingtime. Other than that this place was extremely clean, seems like this place would be really nice to have a dinner at, seeing howclean it was. I?m not sure if it was just quitting time and they was all tired. But I wish them the best, I think I would trythem one more time to make sure it was it was just a one time deal. Read more
The dish I had was very very tasty! It was called Cielo Mar y Tierra. It consisted of chicken, beef and shrimp. It came with... rice and refried beans. To wash it down I just had to get a michelada. Their michelada's are award winning by the way. Theservice was top notch. We were greeted with a big smile and cheerful attitude. Our server's checked on us frequently but not toomuch. This is a place I would be happy to go back to, to enjoy a meal. Read more
Let me start by saying that the staff was very welcoming and friendly!! Now the FOOD.... OMG it so amazingly good!! This... restaurant is a MUST go too!! We and the family really enjoyed the food!! Soooo good and worth the distance to come here. Luis helped us with our order. I was certainly torn between a few items but he... recommended the Botana de Cameron based on their signature Michelada sauce (they sale it there) and that I didn?t want rice thatthey use chicken broth in; he ordered the Pollo de Jalapeño. It did take a while for our order to be complete as it is a superpopular restaurant and the outcome explains why. During covid you may place your order at the window or through DoorDash forpickup and delivery. The flavor? Ooooooh so yummy. If you are a vegan don?t order the Botana de Cameron because it is cooked onthe grill and I did find pieces of meat. But the flavors are so explosive. The sauce itself I wished I purchased a bottle. Wealso ordered guacamole and chips and again absolutely delicious and there wasn?t any leftovers. A must try if you?re inFairfield. Read more
I love their mexican food but mostly having freshly made corn tortillas with my favorite mexican dishes! My favorites are... menudo, caldo 7 mares, the flavor is to die for! At least for me and their barbacoa & shrimp and octoous coctel! And if you lovemicheladas, well search no more, the best I've had! Read more
Love the food in this place. The Cajun flavor in their seafood plates is amazing. I tried their Erick's famous surf and turf... burrito, it is Huge... I thought I was not going to finish it but it was so good I could not stop. We also tried in othervisits their Cielo Mar y Tierra, great for 2, and again, great seasoning flavor on the shrimp. I would definitely recommend itif you are looking for great mariscada seafood and delicious flavor. I don't drink, but their micheladas look great as well. Read more
Edited review: Went back, and got regular street tacos this time. The asada tacos were literally the best I've had. Ordered... an extra plate of them because I just could not get enough. Come for the mariscos, stay for the asada. Service and atmospherewere top notch as always. Great tasting birria, especially the sopa and chili salsa. Tacos were a little burnt and kinda thin,but they were tasty as hell. My friend's marisco was great too. Fast and friendly service too! Read more
