Extremely disappointed with this dining experience. I tend to give restaurants a lot of rope because you can have an off night,... but I can’t give them a pass on such flawed execution along with high prices and lackluster service. Things started off ok.Solid drink menu and we enjoyed the wild mushroom caviar appetizer. I was excited to see venison on the menu, but ordering itwas a big mistake. Not only was there a huge vein of silver skin running through my (maybe 3oz) cut of meat, but the cocoa saucetasted more like Hershey’s syrup. Anyone with an adult palate would never let this past the pass. Then my wife’s seafoodrisotto was under cooked, overpowered by garlic and her lobster tail was unpalatable. Plus there were clams that hadn’topened, which is totally inexcusable. These entrees combined we’re $86. Come on! I maybe could have brought these issues tosomebody’s attention if anyone had bothered to check on us during the meal, but our server, who was doubling as a bartender, was running around like a maniac and clearly overwhelmed (not his fault). On paper this place seems like it would be up ouralley, but we won’t be back. Read more

Delicious food, balanced cocktails and impeccable service. A consistent 10/10. Chef David’s creative appetizers and featured... entrees are not to be missed. Make sure you leave room for one of their homemade desserts! Read more

I’ve eaten there many times with friends and family, and it never disappoints. The service is welcoming and very professional,... and the food is exquisite! It is obvious that the chef takes the time to explore different cuisines and has the passion andcreativity to carefully craft a blend of tastes and textures into a treat for the tongue. Winter by the fireplace with a glassof Prosecco and hot soup at the bar, to outside seating in the spring for nibbles such as the shrimp appetizer- a deliciousstaple menu item- to trying specials of the day like lamb Koftas, which is like traveling to a nice restaurant in Israel withoutleaving Fairfield, make Brick Walk Tavern a delightful dining experience any time of the year! Fantastic service from start to finish. The food was cooked to perfection and the drinks were strong. It's a little pricey but... well worth it all things considered. A very pleasant time all around. Read more

Went for a special occasion, did not disappoint. Apps and Entrees were high quality. The decor is weird, but we would be back in... a second with friends. Read more

Such a great restaurant! After hearing people rave about it on Facebook we decided to go for our anniversary dinner. Certainly... lived up to the hype. Their menu is constantly changing which is fun and reason to keep going back. Luckily the chicken dish Iloved is a constant. Chicken was bursting with flavor. Gorgonzola salad was the perfect start to the meal. My wife loved hersoft shell crab over spicy garlic noodles. We finished the meal with the s’mores mug pudding. Don’t walk. Run. It’sworth it. Very good restaurant with a nice rotating seasonal menu. The ambience and the setting is very good. The staff is very friendly... and accommodating. The food is extremely tasty with fine details in the presentation. The appetizers, small plates anddesserts are all very good as well. The cocktails are also very good and pair well with the food.
