Please note, it is not my way to write a negative review. That is why I gave you a 2 star rather than a one star. However the... lady who does not want to listen to orders. Every time I come in, she messes up my order. If you just take the extra minute andrepeat what you heard you wouldn?t get customers who are disappointed and dissatisfied with your service. Today I ordered threeeverything bagels with sausage egg and cheese and an everything bagel with cream cheese a double chocolate chip muffin and amarble muffin. I received an everything bagel with 3 egg. No muffins and the one correct everything bagel. I get you are busybut customers don?t want to pay and not get what they want. I did pay the correct amount for 4 bagels and 2 muffins and acoffee, but you fall short on fulfilling. I look forward to you all fixing your customer ordering and please work on yourcustomer service. Had the worst experience at this store while doing DoorDash. Order wasn?t ready when I arrived , when I asked the cashier about... the order she said the door dash system was down (wasn?t true) I had to call customer and tell them they had to cancel. It was abig thing in the store because when I went back in the store I asked about the order and what should I tell the customer cashierlooked me right in my face and said she didn?t remember seeing me. I really felt like they were being racist towards me I askedto speak to the manager and he was also very rude to me as well I kept my composure the whole time but I wouldn?t recommendgoing to this place if your not from the area I?m a black male and felt super uncomfortable in this restaurant I was treatedvery poorly and when I went back after going to the customers house the order was finally ready just sitting on the table noapology nothing just sitting there very poor customer service. And from I?m seeing in the comments there are a lot of complaintsabout the staff here obviously something needs to be done. Read more

We have gone to Village Bagels in Fairfield for over 15 years, and just have to say that there is a need for better training of... staff. We just ordered three sandwiches this morning: two New Yorkers (lox and bagel) and one farmers special (a hot breakfastsandwich). We ended up with three New Yorkers. The manager was explaining how they have lots of new staff, which I get. However,it is important for the owners to invest in training and not have people learning on the job, making tons of mistakes, andproviding customers with substandard service. I?ve been in customer service and hospitality long enough, including managing arestaurant, to know when things are falling apart. The owners and management that care will step up and make things right,otherwise it?s a downhill slide all the way. Decent bagels, screwy ordering system that has the busiest people taking your order and you repeating it multiple times. Makes... no sense and causes things to stack up. My kids like the bagels, so I go, but the experience is always frustrating. Read more

Knowing that we all are on a tight schedule with the holidays just around the corner, I am amazed as to how efficient their team... is.
