Acapulco is the best Mexican restaurant you'll find in the Fairfield area. When my husband and I want Mexican, this is the first... and only thought. The salsa is amazing, whether you like hot or mild, you'll find both are always fresh and spectacular. Thereisn't a dish on the menu that is bad, I've tried several and I've loved them all, but I have to say the street tacos are aparticular favorite of mine! My in laws have a proud tradition of eating here and I fully intend to carry on that tradition! Read more

I will be reporting this place. I went here last night and told the waiter absolutely no tomatoes please. I have a server... allergy. Sure enough they out it in my food anyway and my friends after she also requested no tomatoes. They had tomatoes in herrice and my dip for my burrito. I become sick. Started itching and vomiting. I'm not sure what happened here; maybe we got them on an off day? The steak we ordered was grisly and difficult to chew, to the... point where my family didn't eat it. When we told our server about it, he didn't say anything and just walked away. Our serverwas sitting at the next table over for a good 10 minutes, at least, talking to somebody. We never got refills or were asked ifwe needed anything. Another server came by and asked how things were and we told him about the steak very politely. He just said"oh..." and walked away to greet a family at the door. When we got our check, the server told us we could try to get a discountat the checkout desk. He then came back a few minutes later with a check that had 10% off, which, not to sound greedy, butreally wasn't enough to cover the horrible food. They weren't busy at all. Between the steak and the service, my family and Idid not have a good experience at Acapulco. Read more
