We were the only table there. None of the tables were cleared except the one we sat at. It took 10 minutes just for the server... to come to the table. Then another 10 to even give us our drinks. We waited 30 minutes for the appetizers. An hour and a halffor our food, like I said, the only table there. Our server went to check a pizza and touched it with her shoe to scoot it backon the rack. Had a little disaster with a carry out order. Rather than leave a terrible review here, I thought I would make note of it... here.... (since there doesn't seem any way to contact the restaurant directly by email and it looks like they do not have awebsite....)... If one of the owners would reach out to me, I will let them know about my experience and revise this review toa higher star rating. Small dining space, but food was hot and flavorful. Service was really polite and we had a great experience. We were looking for... something different than we could get at home since we were on vacation. This certainly delivered. Great little "hole in thewall" or "secret special place". 1st time visit. Enter and see order counter. Has menu board. Turn right at order counter and find cozy dining room kind of... dark but airy with window that needs new blinds. One person at the order counter was busy with another patron yet acknowledgedus in a timely manner. We seated ourselves to a table in the middle of around 12 tables and booths along the walls. Person atcounter came and took drink orders then a tiny bit later another person came and took our order. Do not be in a hurry here. Ordered the lasagna. Thanks to Groupon, we enjoyed our first delicious experience at Fairfield Pizza. We were fortunate to have Faith as our server.... She was very knowledgeable, friendly and kept us well informed at every transition, although she was very busy. The house saladswere amazing! They don?t cut corners on product quality or presentation. The pastas, pizza and appetizer were just fantastic. Wehad plenty of leftovers, which anyone on a budget can appreciate.
